GEMINI NEW MOON 2022
On May 30, 2022, at 7:29 AM EST, this new Moon takes place at 9 degrees of Air sign Gemini.
Mars and Jupiter are virtually conjunct in Aries at this new Moon inviting us to act in instinctual and optimistic ways.
Since Gemini is a mutable Air sign and it’s ruler, Mercury, is retrograde at the new Moon, we may get new and better ideas on a project or plan that is already on the mind or in the works.
Saturn in Aquarius square to Mercury in Taurus also brings flashes of genius that can be activated now – or groundwork, at least can be laid.
Mercury retrograde in Taurus asks to review projects and plans and remember why we started them in the first place and do they still have value? Has the need changed? Have circumstances shifted and the plan needs to be amended in pace with the new situation?
Mercury resumes forward motion on 3 June. Making the most of reflection and review of projects and plans will save time and energy in the coming weeks and months.
Saturn goes retrograde in Aquarius on June 4 and will resume forward motion October 23.
This gives us plenty of time for self correction, straightening out the structure of our lives: how time is spent and where. We can revisit old squabbles and see where relationships need attention, amends, reunions or partings.
We can choose to look at where we can grow up and take more responsibility for our own paths and priorities.
Find our own inner authority, break away from historical ties and imagined imprisonment to institutions. We can practice stepping each day into agency over our own lives. We can release real or imagined offenses/insults from others. We can dust off our own shoulders, be unburdened by rules that don’t serve us, and walk into a life that we choose. We can choose when rebelling is for our own good, or is simply a reaction to historical wounding or habits. Where is my wounding acting as a placeholder for where the life I want should be residing?
We can start again at any moment- to move toward what we do want in this life. The wound, the habit, the uncertainty can be replaced with a hope that becomes a vision, an experiment that becomes a practice, a foray that becomes a beloved and useful routine.
Paying particular attention to the why of the plan, the value for you of the plan on all levels – is it fun? Is it unfolding in a graceful way? How about the timing? Should it stay in the planning stages? Should we forge ahead? Let the intuition and higher mind be the guide. Take a quiet time to reflect on priorities and make adjustments where it seems right to do so.
Just a reminder: Gemini is the first of the mutable signs. It helps to transform ways of thinking. Let the wind tousle the hair and clear the ears to better hear what the Higher Self and Higher Realms have to tell. Gemini blows new information our way. What we do with that information is up to us. Discern what is useful and what can be swept away on a breeze.
The threads of the life can be picked up again and again - at any time – to weave that tapestry into something new, precious and spacious.

SCORPIO FULL MOON LUNAR ECLIPSE
The Big Ask
12:13 AM EST May 16 2022 at 25 degrees Scorpio.
This is one powerful full Moon. Fixed Earth Taurus is face to face with fixed Water Scorpio each with something to learn and to absorb from the other.
Just a reminder if Scorpio keywords: power, metamorphosis , evolution, mystery, karma and commitment (or not committing).
Taurus can learn to soak up shared resources, assistance from others and sharing of feelings and actual stuff: a handful or herbs, a recipe for soothing the throat or how to act up in the community.
Scorpio can learn from Taurus how to bask in the beauty of a lawn littered with dandelions and bees just waking up from a winter of dozing.
Taurus can reflect to Scorpio how to feel into and value it’s own vibration without concern of the outside world - it’s barbs, it’s judgements and it’s criticism.
Scorpio rules, among other things, the reproductive organs. At this full moon we can claim our own bodies, our own reproductive organs. With the opposition to Taurus we can find a way to safeguard the physical body our own body. We can do what we need to do to value that body and the organs within it.
The Sun and Moon are square to Saturn in Aquarius at the full Moon. Saturn makes the rules and Aquarius breaks the rules so that greater evolution and freedom can be attained. Saturn also brings personal responsibility to the mix- responsibility for our emotional body and over how we think and behave coming from a place of personal authority.
In this case, freedom - Uranus to have authority — Saturn over our own bodies – Scorpio – that we love, cherish and value – Taurus. Venus and Chiron are conjunct in Aries at the full Moon. Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Chiron is the doctor, the teacher, the wounded healer. Aries energy acts on instinct — to forge ahead to do what it feels in the moment is right.
Mars is conjunct Neptune in Pisces here. Mars is what drives our physical bodies around on the Earth plane. Neptune is what drives our spirit around in all the realms. We are able to – at this time- physically channel what is most needed for the body and the spirit.
Mercury is retrograde in Gemini almost conjunct the Sun. It is Sextile Jupiter at 00 degrees Aries. We have to find new ways to address old issues.
Jupiter is associated with freedom, expansion, and the truth. A new moment of speaking our own truth as an expression of our personal values is called for.
What does it all mean?
March in the street if you want to. Send money to the mist precious cause if you feel so drawn. Wear a T-shirt stating your views. Write to whoever wherever the laws are made or remade.
Loll around in the garden with palms pressed down on the Earth and say something like,
“Thank you. I love you. I am listening. What do I need to know? What do I want to do?”
Then actually expect an answer!
The answer may not come right away, but it will come.
Sometimes in an instant, as happened to me the other day. Sometimes in a different quiet moment the answer will come.
I hear that a lot of help us available to us. But we have to ask. Scorpio Full Moon Eclipse is about knowing when to ask and to allow the self to receive.
