New Moon in Aquarius can be jarring.

That could be a mild way to put it. Aquarius wants us to break open and get rearranged so we can be something new.

This can leave some of us feeling like scrambled eggs.

Or, we may feel broken open, vulnerable, lost, without our protective coating.

And the sometimes elusive "What Comes Next" has not yet emerged to make us feel alright again.

Aquarius can take us to the limit of what we think our minds can bear, what fits into our framework of how things should be - so we can be just rattled enough to let in some new ideas.

Harry Potter wasn't brilliant at the Dursleys and Frodo and Bilbo weren't that remarkable sitting by the fireplace in the Shire.

The hero becomes the hero when s/he is shoved WAY out of the comfort zone and the genius is forced to emerge.

So take whatever is torturing you at the moment as a call to adventure. If you aren't sure how to start, get your shoes on and get out in the world- once on your way, the Universe will correct your course.

So, friends, (Aquarius, by the way, rules friends) if you are feeling cracked wide open, alienated and vulnerable - find a friend and get out the door to that amorphous thing that's been calling your name. If you feel like you don't have any friends, be your own best one and you'll no doubt attract new ones.

And if you are stuck at home with a nasty bug, and marching out to adventure is not an option, watch a video about something you want to learn or send your mind dreaming into places you want to be - real or imaginary. That's adventure, too. That is some inner risk taking.

Mercury is retrograde in Aquarius, too, so their may be some old wounds up for healing - ideas put aside - check them again, their time could be now.

Aquarius' polarity is Leo so allowing your creative self expression to help you through this time is key.

Share that song/poem/recipe for cough medicine with a friend and listen to theirs - it could just save one or both of your lives.

It will at least energize your day. And today is all we've really got, anyway, right?

Happy 2015! We have a full Moon in Cancer opposing the Sun in Capricorn to get the structure of our New Year in play with what we have already achieved - and feeling into what we might like to attract next into our lives.

Consider it a jump start from the universe.

Easy does it, feel your feet on the ground and breathe deeply. Continue to bring your mind, heart and body back to a point of ease by remembering what makes you feel at ease.

Consider the things in your life that were once just a dream, an idea, that now are a reality. With Jupiter retrograde in Leo, reach into what has already manifested as encouragement for what you would like to creatively draw into your sphere this year.
