NEW MOON ECLIPSE AND EQUINOX! Lots going on this New Pisces Moon. It is a cusp-y one - in the last degrees of Pisces.. But in Pisces it is. Less than an hour after it's exact point the Moon enters Aries. The Sun follows shortly after. We complete the year with Sun and Moon in Pisces and start fresh in Aries. Whatever you've been wrapping up, it may be fun to let allow in the feeling of completion - and - continuation. The Pisces new Moon asks us to see how far we have come this past year and allow ourselves to see where we can empty our cup in readiness to begin again. Drink draughts of gratitude at the time given here on this sphere. Savor the taste of your energy shared in so many ways. And attune the focus for a while on new ideas, goals, and fresh ways of being in the world. Aries is the first sign of the Zodiac, a Cardinal Fire sign that is intuitively driven to start fresh - to continue afresh on the journey that began long ago. The tulip may come up year after year in the same flower bed, but it is still a new bloom this time. A sunflower seed deposited from a bird on the wing may have to adjust to growing in a different environment entirely. And the seed contains all of the wisdom it needs to take hold and grow. For a moment dark and light, night and day are balanced. Standing on that point for a moment can be a good resting point before diving in to the new. The eclipse adds staying power to the loving intent we make as we move on from here. The vibrations of the last of the powerful, revolutionary Pluto / Uranus squares will be in the field for some time to come. The Sun and Moon moving into Aries a few days after the exact point make that square personal. Evolution is an imperative. We will instinctually move, sometimes headlong, sometimes dragging heels, toward the transformation our soul intends for us. One intention is to hold the focus on what it is you want in your world - both the immediate and the wider world - and allow that to guide your emotions and actions. Focus on your inner light and "news" and hold your center of gravity. The world must be a light garment now. Our focus on what we DO want is so key- now more than ever. Saturn is now retrograde in Sagittarius backing into Scorpio through early August. A time of clearing inner and outer attitudes and reactions to authority are up for review. It is time to trust our own inner authority Where do we allow others "in power" to direct our thoughts, feelings, emotions and actions? What is still valid and useful in this area? The only keel we can keep even is the one on our own ship. The dark of the Eclipse reminds us to feel our inner compass and to remember it knows our own True North. This is so important now. So- as the Moon eclipses the Sun in deep and soulful Pisces, allow yourself to feel how it is to be in the dark. Just you and you. Luxuriate in the watery bath of your own emotional body. A sacred bath to honor the wheel of the year just ending and to make way, as the Sun emerges once again, for the fiery, enthusiastic New. Much love to you. Lydia www.soulastro.com

The full Moon in Virgo will help to ground the cavalcade of fiery planets aligning at this time. Venus and Mars in instinctual Aries is trining Jupiter retrograde in Leo -- looking at what has been created and making edits and adjustments. Saturn, lord of authority, time, and structure is getting ready to retrograde in intuitively- guided Sagittarius and Uranus in fiery and headstrong Aries is making its final square, in a long group do squares, to Pluto in authoritarian Capricorn - overlord of consensus societal structure. Old ways of being and doing are making way for something else entirely. The fiery planets are being experienced through the lens of the Sun in watery Pisces. The result is that we feel like we are negotiating our path in a steamy haze. Our human eyes may not be entirely relied on at this time for navigation. Still, do keep an eye on the road. The inner eye is the one that will be used to find our way at this time. Use your feelers, your gut, the wisdom you've gathered over this and other lifetimes. When feeling into things, allow the Virgo Full Moon to pare away emotional ruts and grooves that have simply become habit. We actually don't always have to "go there." We have felt and re-felt and rooted around in the past... It is ok to experiment with feeling differently, with feeling good. Pisces is the last sign of the Zodiac, a culmination point. The Virgo Moon allows you to review, take account of what is working, release that which needs releasing, and carry on when the Sun moves into Aries and the new astrological year. How would you like to feel your way into the life you've been envisioning today and for what seems like ages? Feel the sand under your toes, the beauty of a satisfying burst of creativity fulfilled, the joy of allowing yourself to do that fun thing. Feel your way onto your path, whether it be paved with velvet, moss, salt water or granite and allow it, allow it. Love, Lydia www.soulastro.com [email protected] |
