LEO FULL MOON LUNAR ECLIPSE 2019
The full super Moon at 0 degrees Leo with an eclipse is giving an amazing burst of creativity.
Waking up in the morning, arms open wide to the strains of your dear self singing “I Gotta Be Me” is a fantastic way to celebrate this full Moon.
Letting what is inside and has been yearning, growing, developing and destined to be expressed OUT is key.
It can be rough, it can be a work in progress (we always are —- a work in progress) it can be scratched on your hand, doodled in the margins, flung against the wall to see what sticks.
It’s gotta be me. It’s gotta be you. The most authentic creative expressions of self are flowing now.
The Sun, Leo’s ruler, in Aquarius at 0 degrees during this Supermoon Eclipse says allow the self to be informed by the cosmos, by the All That Is, by your neighbor, your favorite tree, your most beloved TV show.
Allow the inspiration that is coursing through the veins of everything to breathe with you.
All of the planets are in forward motion until March 4 when Venus goes retrograde.
If you’ve been feeling more motivated to make your world more comfortable, more flowy, more to your liking, you are already on board.
On January 22, Venus aligns with Jupiter in its home sign of Sagittarius.
What a time to wake up into the New Year and use the intuitive inner guide and any signs and portents we like to employ to expand into how we want to feel, what we want to experience, to have, and to do, and how we want to feel in the experiencing, and having, and doing of it.
On the Full Moon Venus is square to Neptune which puts a grain is sand in our oyster shell, pushing us to dream up that pearl.
The Leo/Aquarius axis invites us to inhabit our creative expression and to allow that radiation to interact with the expression of other individuals, and the expression that is the whole.
Leo says this is me. Aquarius says here we are! And how are we, together? And how do we synchronize and synthesize our collective genius without losing the beauty and unique expression of the individual?
Snowflakes, indeed, can join up to drift and to avalanche – changing a landscape. Drops of water in the ocean make waves, water crops, render tsunamis. Rivers full of water droplets rub down plains into canyons.
You get the picture. We are blessedly individual. Together, we are a force of nature that creates and utterly transforms worlds. We are, also, all stardust.
It’s fun at this time to play with both of these ideas and the in between of it.
All of that said, both Sagittarius and Aquarius relish freedom and neither likes to be preached at.
Community may not always be about consensus.
I love the idea of dancing along the polarity between Aquarius and Leo like a squirrel on a phone line.
I’ll paint a little over here I Leo. I’ll share it on a social media platform over here in Aquarius… I can join, I can retreat and stew in creative juices at home, I can rally and I can meditate— together, alone. It can be in person or in dreams, visions,
or FaceTime.
Creativity and Community are ours to build and today is a great time to feel our relationship with all of it and see where to go from here.

CAPRICORN NEW MOON AND SOLAR ECLIPSE 2019
Happy New Year 2019, fellow travelers!
We are starting 2019 with a new Capricorn Moon and Solar Eclipse.
We have a fresh start for what we want to build in the New Year.
Capricorn rules the timing and structure of things.
The Solar Eclipse is a new cycle that affects us for the next six months or so. This gives additional oomph to the New Yea/New Moon energy.
Capricorn is a Cardinal sign. Cardinal signs initiate things, so we have an extra fresh start feeling this new year.
Within hours of the exact point, the new Moon is conjunct Saturn, Capricorn’s ruling planet.
Saturn is currently making a happy aspect to Neptune in Pisces. The time to frame our dreams wishes hopes and desires for 2019 is now.
Mars entered its home sign of Aries. Mars will be in Aries until February 14. Being a Cardinal sign and the first sign of the Zodiac, Aries has the fire of initiatory energy. Capricorn can Earth the new beginnings and help to make them manifest as we get in alignment with the unfoldment of that which we wish to attract.
Jupiter in its home sign of Sagittarius makes a mutable square to Neptune at the new Moon adding fuel for the expansion and intuitive awareness of our desires. Squares get our attention and attend to our evolution. Mutable signs are willing to change and shift and transmute.
Capricorn rules time and Karma and authority.
It is the grownup of the Zodiac and it can give a a structure to that which we intend to create. For some of us, a routine helps us to feel ease so that our awareness in the day to day has a place to drop into consciousness, a regular place of opening — for instance in journaling or meditation upon awakening each day.
Capricorn makes a natural trine to Taurus and Taurus likes a routine.
The planets move in a predictable way, for the most part, and their predictability gives us many of the gifts that astrology brings.
It is a good time to initiate routines that allow the life to flow with ease.
Capricorn makes a natural trine to Virgo, the third Earth sign. Virgo invites us to take stock, clean house and re-examine our dreams and goals in its natural opposition to Pisces.
A fresh look at what we want and what we think or thought we wanted can be helpful at this time. Feel into long term dreams and goals, see how the achievement of them feels as they are held in the mind and body.
Has the initial motivation of that desire evolved into something more clear?
Has it evolved that dream or goal right out of existence into something new?
There could even be an experience at this time that asks, why am I even doing this thing I thought was so important, this thing into which I have been pouring so much life force?
It can be interesting, even for a few minutes, an hour, a day, to allow even the most closely held and dearest of dreams and goals to be released — to see what it feels like to drop all that tugs on the psyche through plans and ambitions — and just be free of it all.
This is what a New Moon and Eclipse invites us to do in Capricorn.
Release all that binds the self to the day to day, to the life, to the drive to achieve — give the inner taskmaster, the achiever, the boss, a day and night off. Feeling the freedom and any other emotions that come up- of the things that have cloaked who and what the entity is - in its most pure essence, in its natural environment, unfettered.
It can be dizzying the emptiness, and it can be very refreshing. It can pare the self back to a state of relaxation that only welcomes back that which is truly wanted and needed by the Self.
