The New Moon and Sun in Taurus are conjunct today in the middle of this Spring’s unusual Triple Eclipse Cycle. There is a solar eclipse today at 6:29 pm MST. The Sun and Moon are joined by Venus, Mercury and Mars - all in Taurus. The effects of the eclipse may be felt for up to six months and with this Solar eclipse we are presented with the key Taurus Energy of Value. It is a good time to look at how we value ourselves – by what we eat and how we care for ourselves on all levels. It is also a great time to look at how we spend our time and with whom. Is our energy – our life force (Mars) going in the direction of what we truly value. Are we moving toward what we love (Venus). With a solar eclipse, outer forces push us to fess up to that which we love and want to commit to and begin walking toward it. Taurus energy also focuses on survival and security. As the outer world continues to shift and change, we come to find what we are really made of. What is at our core that gives us a feeling of strength and security. Have we named its value to us? Having named it, we can build on that strength and security. We will see more clearly what needs to be let go of so we can move from strength to strength. The polarity point for Taurus is Scorpio- so don’t forget to see how you can share resources with others – giving and getting help along the way. A blind spot for Taurus can be thinking we have to do it all by ourselves. Scorpio knows that many hands make light work. Taurus can be slow to get moving, but when it finally does, it moves forward with purpose and might. The bee stinging Ferdinand the Bull’s bottom while he sits quietly smelling flowers in a field can be likened to today’s eclipse. So if you find yourself up and moving today, perhaps rubbing your sore behind and feeling quite motivated, thank the Sun, Moon and Stars and BE what you value. Smell the flowers along the path, they may have some guidance for you. Much love to you all today and every day. Lydia www.soulastro.com
