Happy Solstice to us All!

Whether it is the celebration of Mid-Winter or Mid-Summer, may the turning of the Wheel of the Year and the Celebration of the Light whether it be the celebration of its Waxing in the Northern Hemisphere, or its Winding down, in the Southern, be a lovely and rich one for you.

This year it is conjoined with the New Moon in Capricorn. 

New Moons are a great time for New Beginnings and as Capricorn rules Time, well . . . it is a great moment to look again how we use our time and move through time.

When looking at New Beginnings, though, we know that a new beginning is really a reset button that allows us to carry with us all we have learned, all we have experienced and all that we have intended thus far along with us as we start up again. 

Even a baby’s new beginning is one that has a history – both the genetic memory of the parents and ancestors, the experiences they have had, the places they have lived, the food they have eaten and the inentions THEY have made.

So as we look at the Calendar year drawing to a close, we look where we have been and how we have felt about it.  We look at the experiences of the past three years with Saturn (ruler of Capricorn) in transformative, powerful, life/attitude and belief shifting Scorpio.  We reflect on how we have coalesced into the next iteration of ourselves. 

Then we can feel that being that we have become over the past days/ weeks/ months /lifetimes getting ready to move with Saturn into the  adventurous, willing to morph, seek, learn and feel sign of Sagittarius.

Capricorn rules time, how we feel about and deal with authority, how we deal with the structure of our lives..   So his time in the Sun (and new Moon) comes at time of year when the Sun is making himself felt and noticed.  And the Calendar is calling another year to a close. 

This time we have Mercury, Venus and Pluto all in Capricorn as well.  So we are likely to be thinking about authority, dealing with our relationship with it and wanting to transform it – in the long and short term.  Pluto is tied in with Uranus in one of many squares by transit which is causing flare ups, and calls for major changes in many areas that have been simmering for a very very long time – lifetimes upon lifetimes.

As above so below – as with the group, so it is with the individual. So what has been bubbling under the surface for you across many new beginnings, across multitudinous intention settings and vision boards and earnest conversations with friends.

What is now breaking out in you to march in the street, to stand up for yourself, , to move, with great ease,, into the you that you have been outlining across the ages?

Time, says Capricorn, the time, he says. Is now – to feel that you are there.  To know that the you that you have been envisioning and dreaming and writing and talking into existence is already here.  You have already been doing versions of those dreams – on many levels in many ways.  You are that which you want and dream and desire to be.

Saturn's rings are helping to hold your waverings in place long enough to see your progress, to see your intentions coming to light.  Make a list of all that you have seen happen in your life this year – from making your bed more often to keeping your emotional body moving toward relief, and feelings that you enjoy. 

Give yourself a pat on the back for making it through another year on the Earth plain.  It is a big deal to be here.  To begin again and again and again, knowing that you are never starting from scratch.

FULL MOON IN GEMINI

Can You Tell the Truth from A Lie? 

Or is it just a shift in perception.

With a full Moon in Gemini we will feell in our core what is true and right for us.  Our conditioning may have been telling us something else for quite some time – the “education” given us by parents, siblings, media, the government, university, bosses, lovers and mentors. 

The Gemini Moon opposes the Sagittarius Sun- the illuminator of natural law that pulls us down from the ivory tower and out onto the snowy field.   The quiet moonlit wood, the glistening shoreline will tell us what is real.

Sagittarius knows it all and is happy to tell everyone about it.

Gemini wants to find out.  Together, if they stand on a rock and really see; if they gaze at the moon and truly allow its light to pour into their heart, mind and all else, the perspective will come.

  The true knowing that has been covered up in what is now revealed as mere distraction will come to the fore.  The way in and the way forward will be illuminated on the inner and then on the outer.

Jupiter, the ruler of Sagittarius, will start a retrograde motion on December 8th.  So some reimagining, some polishing and filling in of ideas may be called for now that you have seen, heard and felt the truth and are headed to True North.  Allow for some winnowing away, allow for edits in regard to what you really want to grow inside you and allow to be made manifest.

Mars is now in Aquarius which brings information to your physical system in sometimes surprising and sometimes shocking ways.  Your friends could help you edit your ideas – or you may want to hide out for a while and share your wealth later on.

Obey natural law.  Eat, drink and rest when you feel the need.

Trust your intuition.  Let your feet feel the ground and be guided by it.  Take the stairs down from the ivory tower so you know, kinesthetically, how far removed from Terra Firma you may have gotten while entertaining high ideals.

Stand your ground. Stand true.
