PISCES FULL MOON 2021
28 degrees Pisces 13 minutes at 7:54 PM EST 20 September.
We’ve nearly made it to the 2021 Equinox which takes place on Wednesday, the 22nd when the Sun enters Libra.
With the Autumn Equinox in the North and Spring in the Southern Hemisphere, we now have a moment of equal day and night. We start a new half of our year.
Mercury has a retrograde motion in Libra from September 26 to October 18. This invites us to use the mind to connect to the beauty that resides in the heart.💜 It is a time to let the mind sync with the heart of the self, the heart of nature, the heart of the universe and the hearts of other beings, seen and unseen.
The Pisces full Moon is an end point as it is the final – 12th sign of the zodiac and at the next full Moon we start at the beginning again with Aries.
So, this is a completion time.
We are also about to enter the last quarter of the calendar year — a time to start reviewing and wrapping things up.
The Pisces full Moon asks us to put our head on the pillow and dream into the time so far – in this year, in this segment of our lives, and in the season to come.
Pisces holds the energy of all 12 signs and can access to he gifts and abilities of those 12 signs.
Pisces is not to be underestimated. It may appear jovial and at ease at parties. It may seem to get things down while appearing to exert little effort.
It may have the remarkable ability to bring a smile to pretty much anyone’s face, regardless of age, disposition, social status or relationship to that Pisces.
When they are in tune, they can move through life like a silvery fish slipping through water glimmering in the sun.
And they can make it all feel like a poem or a love song or a ridiculous joke.
When we have the Pisces full Moon we can FEEL into some of these magical Pisces qualities.
We can dream into our hopes wishes and desires and ask the waters within to float us toward those aspirations.
The Virgo Sun can bring practical steps toward the dreams coming to fruition, while the Pisces full Moon can loosen the strings to feel the way forward.
With this full Moon comes the reminder that we can remain tuned in beyond our moments of daily reflection and meditation. We can be open, at all times, to insight, inspiration, ideas and the nudges of guidance.
Head on the pillow, feet on the ground, the heart is the meeting place to lead on.
The kindness and compassion of Pisces can be felt for the self and can be a guide.
The embodiment of that self love and respect can then radiate out to others.
If we are brought up being told to love others, we must experience that love within in order to be able to share it, to radiate it.
This is an old message to be sure, and it bears repeating… and it bears practicing.
Is there something we could bestow upon ourselves at this full Moon that we have been withholding?
Perhaps it is forgiveness, or self respect or self soothing or adventure or some pampering?
Where we have been a hard task master of the self, or over critical, we could turn it around and make a list of things that are acceptable, lovable, fun and lovely about ourselves.
And what would this acceptable, lovable, fun and lovely person like to do, think, be, and have in this precious life?
We are at the heart of the dream.
Lots of love,
VIRGO NEW MOON 2021
The New Moon at 14 degrees 37 minutes Virgo occurs on 6 September 2021 at 8:51 PM EST.
The Sun and Moon make an earth trine to retrograde Uranus in Taurus. Virgo is ruled by Mercury and Uranus is the higher octave of Mercury. We have greater access to higher wisdom that can be accessed by going within.
The New Moon invites us to take time to listen to the Higher Self to see how it can give insight, information and wisdom to the regular old walking/talking/interacting/
chatting self. We can then take the wisdom on board and integrate it into our daily life, our daily mindset.
Perhaps new ways of engaging the Self are called for: how is your self talk game? Is it kind, encouraging and soothing? Does it bring in fun, new ideas and illuminating projects?
Perhaps trying new ways of interacting with others is called for.
Virgo likes to organize, sift, and sort. It likes to joke around and have fun with words and games. It likes to find ever better and wiser and more efficient ways to get things done so there is more time and space for new ideas, inner and outer journeys and interesting conversations.
There is a reason they say we have to do a clear out if we want to welcome the new into our lives. Virgo is a dab hand at rearranging and clearing so that there is room for the New that we are attracting into our experience.
On 10 September, Venus enters Scorpio.
On 14 September Mars enters Libra. With these two personal planets in signs of relating and the sharing of resources, it is a great time to relate with others in new ways: finding ways to partner up, share ideas, projects, fun and adventures.
It can be a bit of a Stone Soup time- starting with an empty pot and seeing what kind of soup can be made when each of us contributes the to the party.
Virgo is in charge of healing. We turn attention, as we approach the Equinox later this month, to adjusting to the changing of season. Just as we may prepare our wardrobe for the change in temperature, we can also can prepare the body and mind for the time to come. Our inner nature can inform us what foods will support our system in the new season. Our inner nature can inform us of when to join with others and when to conserve energy.
Virgo is at the half way point of the astrological year. It is the sixth of the 12 signs. The first five are focused on building the self as an individual.
Virgo takes time to review that self we have been building before we embark on the next six signs which have a more outward social/communal/group minded focus.
The energy to for the season ahead comes from the new Moon’s time of quiet reflection, nourishing food and rest.
Then, refreshed and renewed, we proceed with good.orderly.direction.
