Redefining Your Boundaries
For Your Full Expansion The Scorpio Full Moon this April 29 is drawing us more deeply inward than ever. The structure of our inner being is under reconstruction. Scorpio’s ruler, Pluto, has recently joined Saturn in Capricorn-in a retrograde motion. Jupiter, the beneficent planet of optimism and expansion, is retrograde in Scorpio. We are now reviewing redefining, reforming and realigning with our higher selves. We are having an inner renegotiation of our boundary lines and defining where they can be drawn to best serve us. It will likely consider boundaries that are personal and that radiate to the social sphere. How do we speak to others and how do we allow others to speak to us? How much time do I want to spend at work, in meditation, shopping? How am I valuing my time? The Sun in Taurus reminds us to review how we value ourselves and what our values are. The retrograde Saturn in Capricorn is reminding us the value of our time, that it is limited in this body and on this planet, so what are we doing with that time? And Pluto retrograde in Capricorn will give us the interest and conviction to make changes that serve us. Don’t forget that Scorpio knows how to pool resources, so our friends and counselors can help us to redefine at this time. Chiron has finished a complete cycle through the Zodiac and is now beginning again in Aries. If you are 50ish and having your Chiron return, a reading might be useful. For everyone else, we are going to have a clear, instinctual connection with our wounds and will be highly motivated to work with them for our highest good: strengthened by The willingness to be majestic in our wholeness – thorns in paws and all. Also, the Sun, Moon and the nodes of the Moon are making a grand fixed cross giving us the strength to transform ingrained emotional patterns that have been outgrown and can be shed to allow a more comfortable and assured way of relaxing into the world. With Mars recently conjunct Pluto, we have a great opportunity to be conscious of our desires and any thoughts and actions that run counter to those desires. If we attend to what and how we are vibrating (more Yes! Less Yah, but…), manifestation has a much clearer way through to meeting our desires. The Sun is trine Saturn at the Full Moon, so I would recommend making one change to the routine this week. It will be easier than usual. You will be more willing to change a habit or bring in a new one that will increase your demonstration of self- love. Example: start hanging up clothes to dry, replace a good that you know makes you feel gross with one that makes you feel good, repair a beloved item of clothing instead of replacing it. Find a good cobbler to fix your shoes. Buy better shoes so they don’t wear out as fast. When you feel yourself getting ready to press play on the internal video of your pet resentment, change it to the funniest thing you can think of. Replacing it with something funny is a good way to welcome Uranus’ pending ingress to Taurus around the Taurus new Moon in two weeks time. Tell a beloved friend you aren’t t going to listen to the 30th version of THEIR pet resentment, either. Get to bed 30 minutes earlier. Turn the screens off thirty minutes before that. You get the picture. Here’s a mini meditation: Breathe in a clean new breath. Breathe out anything you want. Breathe in happy new experiences. Breathe out: Thank you. I was born on Earth day. We are in Taurus time til May 19, so the energy for loving and valuing the elemental forces in our bodies, in the Earth and beyond all that we can see is palpable and in love with us. It’s a good time to reciprocate. Plant something, compost something, recycle everything. Turn thoughts into mulch that feeds the next expansion of your universe — and the daily life. Our experience Here on Earth is made up of moments. The moments melding together as an expression of our thoughts and desires. I am doing a housecleaning if my thoughts and desires. With the retrograde planets I am finding some much beloved old treasures. I am also finding some clunkers that will be released to make way for the breeze to blow in what suits the new me. My internal compass is realigning to my own true North. With the Sun in Taurus we are realigning the way we value ourselves. We are going to be experiencing the way we love and honor ourselves in New and revolutionary ways. Uranus, the great revolutionary, the outsider, the voice of universal reason and sometimes beyond reason is entering Taurus on May 15. This Scorpio Full Moon is going to ask us to get well centered in our bodies and our minds because Uranian energy is the one that turns over the apple cart and shakes loose whatever needs loosening or smashing g to bits. Taurus and Scorpio are fixed signs. They are fierce and powerful. They yearn to transform and they sometimes sink into shadow to avoid the change they know is coming. If there are any transformative actions you’ve been holding just beyond your threshold, it’s a good time to come out of the shadow in the next two weeks and embrace them of your own volition. When Uranus strides into the property of Taurus in two weeks time, he will not stand politely on the doorstep while you put that final picture on the vision board. Uranus may break the doorjam as he rips in to Taurus, shakes you til your teeth rattle, and your genius falls out of your pockets for all the world to see. While he’s at it, in Taurus, he may wriggle into your sense of security and rut-decorating and insist that you move and LOVE it. Take these next two weeks as if your finger has been hovering over the purchase button of a new way of living. It may be a good time to proceed with your own free will. Scorpio has emotional daring beyond measure – once engaged. And Taurus has steely determination once it’s heart and love for the beauty of the natural richness of the world has been lured out of its cozy pasture. You know what it is you want and have been wanting for a long time. Your dreams have been refined and honed in meditation, in conversation with yourselves and others, in your lists and bulletin boards and umpteen social media images. It’s time to gird the loins and allow the vision to unfurl, in reality. In the world. Ok! Lots of love, Lydia www.soulastro.com lydia@soulastro.com Contact me if you’d like a reading. 😊💗🌟🌎

We have, here, the first New Moon of the astrological year. Aries is the first sign of the Zodiac. The ram who heads out and bursts through, like the first daring buds of Spring coming up through winter-hardened ground. Mercury is Stationary Direct today and will resume forward motion at 5degrees of Aries. The impulse to get going may be strong and waiting a few days to gestate in the dark of the new Moon and Mercury readying to go forward is advisable. Aries will, however, follow its instincts. It will charge out when it can bear standing around in the paddock no longer. The primary initiatory energy of Aries is in Cardinal square to the more sage and considered sign of Capricorn. The Goat ventures higher up the cliffs, typically, than the ram, and can see further afield. Saturn, Pluto, and Aries’ ruler Mars, are all currently in Capricorn. Here, they look at the kat of the land prior to striking out on new campaigns. Saturn goes retrograde on April 17 and Pluto turns retrograde on April 22. The retrograde motion of these two power houses will temper and refine and realign our actions. Our current power structures, both internal and in the world are up for massive review, reconsideration and rehabilitation, and reckoning. We have been experiencing this review for many months. The best place to start with a rehab is definitely with our own stakes in the ground in regard to how we spend our vital life force day to day. With Aries’ natural square to Cancer and opposition to Libra, how do we observe our emotions rising up and how do we care for ourselves in light of those emotions. Projection onto the other is pretty much never the answer; but observing what emotions and desires to action are evoked by others is absolutely worth attending to. As Capricorn rules authority and societal structures, it’s a good time to envision what kind of society we’d like to inhabit and look at how we can, in our individual ways, live our way into the new structure. As the Sun will soon enter Taurus, and in a month so will Uranus, all of our value systems will be called into the forefront. How can we start living in the world we wish for? By living in alignment with the Planet and with the others in it? That kindness starts with how we value ourselves and how we value our time and how and where we spend it. Chiron, the wounded healer, is entering Aries on April 17. The asteroid takes 50 years to make its turn around the Zodiac, so he hasn’t visited with Aries since 1968. He will remain in Aries til 2026 after a brief retrograde back into Pisces in September. A new and instinctual experience of how we integrate our most profound wounds and utilize/share their gifts is called for. Look at where early degrees of Aries live in your chart to see how the integration can be experienced. At this Aries new Moon, see where you might be butting your head against the wall— against what and whom? Can you turn around out of the stable and into the green field to rub your sore head and consider new or improved or wider options? Allow for the blood to boil and take it out in a hike, on the freshening up of the home, garden and workspace. All of this will assist in aligning your vibration with that which is your happiest self. We have Sun Moon and Uranus conjunct today so let your instincts be your guide and let the genius that is your Higher Self inform your instincts. The Sun enters Taurus on April 19. We enter a receptive time that honors the what and how we Value ourselves, and in turn, all of Life. With the massive retrograde of Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn, get down to the business of reframing a life that is valuable to you. Lots of Love, Lydia www.soulastro.com lydia@soulastro.com |
