TAURUS FULL MOON ECLIPSE 2021
3:57 AM EST 19 November 2021 is at 27 degrees Taurus. The Taurus full Moon is one of the most powerful of the year. The fixed opposition of Taurus to Scorpio has will and stubbornness and the entrenched desire and power to drive internal and external transformation. This full moon is square to Jupiter in Aquarius. Aquarius’ ruler, Uranus, is retrograde in Taurus and opposing Mars, traditional ruler of Scorpio, currently IN Scorpio. Mercury is also in Scorpio and is widely conjunct the Sun at the Full Moon. The Focus is on inner expansion – feeling the hugeness and wholeness that is our spirit self and our physical self. The focus is on how we can get a bigger sense of our relationship with the Higher Self. With a Taurus full Moon – what does that look like in the day to day? How can we enhance reliance on the Higher Self to help with guidance, decision making. The higher Self can also be relied on to comfort us, soothe us and smooth the way along the human experience. The Higher Self can better view the unfolding of our human experience – especially with the Eagle component of the Sun in Scorpio. Let the Higher Self fly out in front. It will give guidance on which roads to tread and when if we but ask, and get used to the sound of its voice. The full moon is trine to Pluto in Capricorn. The Taurus moon wants to find value in the self. The trine to Pluto can pat us on the head and remind us how well we are doing in our lives on the Earth plane during these very wild, very transformative times. The trine to Pluto may remind us to drink water, eat a meal, get some sleep, as these are all nourishment to fuel the way on our evolutionary journey. We are having an earthly experience. We want to feel it and know it and become changed for the having of it. The trine to Pluto is a point of ease this Full Taurus Moon. Allow the mysterious Pluto power to fill up the body and the mind. Allow it to inform us through the senses, that we are a drop of the ocean that is the Beloved. We are on an adventure that the Soul chose to have. The soul wanted to smell the grass and climb the hill and get hungry and have a meal. It wanted to experience being lonely and having a friend. The Soul wanted to be separate and to join back together. It wanted to yearn to find its true Heart and true Home when the time on Earth is done. We live the life. We experience, experiment, test, observe, assimilate, create and change. We do it through the body, the mind and the senses. It can look stagnant and same-y. The rock doesn’t get worn down by the river overnight. Micro adjustments are being made: instinctually, intuitively, consciously - sometimes, barely consciously - often! Let it flow. Does the droplet - as part of the rush if the river - pick its way tentatively down the rapids, stone by pebble by grain of sand? No, it allows itself to be carried along. We can allow the self to be carried along, alert to our surroundings sometimes, lulled to sleep by the familiar earthly noises sometimes… Allie the life. Allow the higher self to take some of the weight of the journey. We are then unburdened. We are light enough to skip. We are light enough to enjoy the ride. The eclipse cycle starting now is the beginning of a six month or so ride. Embark with expectancy that everything is working its way and is working out well for our best and highest good. This is a long slow partial eclipse. The illumination will be incremental and interesting and unusual. May it’s pull and power be filling and fulfilling tonight and all nights. Much love, Lydia www.soulastro .com [email protected]

SCORPIO NEW MOON 2021
The New Moon is at 12 degrees of Scorpio on 4 November at 5:14 PM EST. The new Moon in Scorpio invites us to gather in the power that courses through our minds, through our spirit and through our very ones and blood. Pluto-ruled Scorpio wants to feel it’s power in order to have the courage to have the full experience of being human- of being an individual with choices. When we breathe in our power, when we think into our power, when we walk in our power we can glimpse, and, at times, see fully, the glory of what we are, and experience the depths of what we feel. As a water sign, Scorpio can tune into its own emotional field with a depth and complexity not available at other times of the year. We can enter the cavern of our soul and commune with our spirit and humanity there in the dark, there in the quiet, there in the safety that is illuminated by our own being. We can rest there. We can be comfortable there, we can be challenged there: to gaze into the inner world, the one that is normally calling from the edges of daily life, of ordinary reality. The Scorpio new Moon wants to bring what is calling to our individual self in from the edges – to invite the calling of our soul’s desire for evolution- right inside – where can feel it and sense it and hear the wisdom and adventure of what is next or even mor poignantly, what is now. Right now in the cavern of the heart and soul we can meet with the love we hold for the Self. We can lavish ourselves with kind thoughts, sweet words and promises we aim to keep. We can cross swords with a foe and walk away arm and arm – or on our own — empowered by the experience regardless of the outcome. What is next may not be an action, or a plan, or a proclamation. What is next could very well be a way of being, a way of experiencing the self that is more true, more clear, more empowered, more you. That which is unnecessary, that which nips at the heels, that which drags the energy down can be removed like an outworn, outgrown garment. That which is no longer useful can be blown away like dry autumn leaves – blown away to a garden bed as compost for next year’s shoots and growth. Scorpio energy wants to Know. It wants to know so it can understand, so it can experience, so it can evolve. It is willing to sit quietly and attract its pieces that make up the puzzle picture, that add to the mystery. And then, as they come into focus, help to add clarity and solutions. The New Moon is in exact opposition to Uranus retrograde in Taurus. This can bring on the fire of rebellion, of reaction, of pure revolt. If we can pause before engaging, this is not a bad idea. And it is a good idea to find safe and healthy somewhat healthy ways to revolt so when the new Moin is over the house is still standing. On 6 November Venus moves into Capricorn and invites us to make or revise the rules of engagement, the rules of personal power and authority. We may want to set some new boundaries with family/friends/colleagues/neighbors. Venus in Capricorn will hold its own. It will speak up for itself. It will stand in strength. All of this jibes nicely with the unfolding empowerment of the Sun in Scorpio. We keep our own selves company this whole life. This new Moon is a great time to be a good, fair, wise, fun, engaging, and inquisitive companion to our own precious selves. Curl up in the great warm cavern of the self and have a nice chat, a good cuddle, and a good laugh at a private joke known only to you and Yourself. Lots of love, Lydia www.soulastro.com [email protected] |
