A Powerful Taurus full Moon
opposes the Sun in Scorpio bringing a wave of transformative energy.
The emotional/ego body is inwardly
focused on the love we gave for the
self and on how we value ourselves.
We may think we have to do it all on our
own and not look up from our journaling
or meditation to see that the Scorpio Sun
signals us with assistance.
Taurus is learning self reliance and how to
love and provide for itself under its own steam.
This is a wonderful lesson. And, in the polarity
to Scorpio we learn when it is useful and correct
to share resources with others for both personal
and common goals.
With this Full Moon we see when to fly solo and
when we may need a friend on the wing.
At the time of the Full Moon, Venus in Virgo is in
opposition to Chiron retrograde. Also, Saturn is in
early degrees of Sagittarius.
Old relationship wounds -secrets (Scorpio) and lies
(Sagittarius) may rock our foundations (Saturn).
We may have told secrets and lies in this or even
other lives as we felt (Moon) our lives/survival
depended on it (Taurus).
Here comes Sun in Scorpio to illuminate the hidden, shadow places. The light may feel shocking and harsh, but as a wound needs cleaning with peroxide to bring infection bubbling to the surface, Scorpio Sun will bring old wounds up and out of the depths so that they can be acknowledged and healed.
So if you have been feeling frightened and
Exposed in some way over the past week, you aren't alone.
And if you can just allow the sting to be rinsed away by tears, time, and comfort from your own inner voice or a friend's, strength that will come from recuperation and reconciliation.
Ask for help and allow the guidance to come - from your own inner voice, or from a welcome fellow traveler.
Much Iove, Lydia
The New Moon in Libra calls us to contemplate anew our relationship with the self/Self. Libra is a cardinal air sign, so it likes thinking about new beginnings.
Libra is ruled by Venus, the planet that likes to relate, especially if it helps us find out more about ourselves.
Venus is currently in Virgo, which looks at what is working and prepares to go of what is not. This process may have been more intense while Virgo's ruler, Mercury, was retrograde,
Mercury went direct on October 9th, but is still in the shadow as it returns to foward motion. So the reflections and retrospection of the past few weeks will still resonate and offer increasing clarity on who and how we want to be in relation to ourselves and the world at large.
Libra's ruler, Venus, will be making an opposition this week to Neptune, currently retrograde in Pisces.
What may be resurfacing, on a personal and global scale, is how we have applied blurry logic to our objects of affection or fear.
Humans can make gods/demigods of pretty much anything or anyone. And the way we may have projected qualities on those objects of hatred or desire may be up for intense review this week.
You may already have seen it in your life or on the news.
It helps to see where our energies have gone in the past to project glory or terror on another - the energy that abides in us, as well.
With a Libra new Moon it is time to call those projected bits home and love them all into our own personal sense of whole- ness.
The reminder, again and again is the only mood we can truly affect is our own. The world we see is experienced through the lens of each individual's eye.
Love yourself in the dark of the Moon. Love yourself home. It is the one way to the Truth.
Lots of love, Lydia
