The Full Moon In Capricorn with Sun in Cancer calls us to connect to our inner feelings of authority. With the Moon in Capricorn, a Cardinal earth sign ruled by Saturn, we find it is time to have a renewed awareness of how we take ownership and responsibility for our actions and our emotions.
We look again at where we may be waiting for permission to do something we, in actuality, have our own authority to pursue. Capricorn is the grown up of the zodiac. It asks us to look at where we allow ourselves to take the reins in life, and where we may be handing them over – consciously and unconsciously – due to fear or habit or conditioning.
With Capricorn we are aware of our relationship to society. and our feelings and reactions to how we are relating to our society/culture. Are we starting yet another new endeavor because the current goal has hit a snag. Are we going along with the schedule someone laid out for us when it may be happier to engage with our own timeline.
Capricorn/Cancer polarity asks us to join our inner male and female and find the integrated point of balance/union within of the two.
The internal clock can be used as a reference and it can be used as a guide so that the structure of our inner life can inform the outer.
When we our guided by our inner voice/authority/emotional body rather than being pulled along by some external tide – powerful as it may seem – we will find our way with greater ease, relief and satisfaction to the moments in life which we most want to meet.
The Sun in Cancer highlights our sense of inner security and our ability to nurture ourselves.
The Capricorn full Moon highlights how we are able to hold that inner security as we navigate through the world.

NEW CANCER MOON JULY 2016

The new Moon is in Cancer. The new Moon is making a grand water trine to Neptune in Pisces and Mars in Scorpio. Cancer is a cardinal sign that likes to begin and begin again, and Mars has recently resumed forward motion after a retrograde cycle. We are being lead by our intuition, by our dreams and hope, and by a deep desire for transformation. Things are definitely moving.
Crabs don't typically move in a straight line however, so check the corners and notice your peripheral vision as well as what is right in front of you.
The most fortuitous route is often not the most direct route. Consider the mountain stream as it flows downhill to the sea. It winds its way, meandering, at times. It takes the easiest route as it twists and turns.
Transformation is experienced along the journey as it unfolds. Allow the fact that mystery is an inherent component in the blue print of your life.
The new Moon is also in opposition to Pluto. The Cancer /Capricorn polarity addresses issues of personal authority and the authority. Is the state road the best road for you or do you need to break your own trail here and now. Begin and begin again with your own authority as the guide.
