SECOND LIBRA FOR FULL MOON 2019
I neglected to mention we were having two libra full Moons in a row. One at 0 degrees in March and this one, at 29 degrees Libra. We are bookending our light and dark and all the twilights, sunrises, and sunsets of the soul in between. In the last degree of Libra, making a wide square to Pluto and Saturn and the South Node within orb of each other in the early 20’s degrees of Capricorn, we have a moment to look again at the structure of our relationships. With the Moon opposing the Sun in Aries, we look at how we relate to ourselves and to others. Final degrees of signs give a bit of an strength and momentum to make some moves. Libra’s ruler, Venus, is in Pisces. Pisces asks us to look at our dreams, wishes, desires, illusions and delusions around relationship. The sun in Aries regards our primary relationship- the one with ourselves. The Moon in Libra highlights how we choose to relate to others and how those relationships cause us to reflect on ourselves. The second Libra Full Moon may reveal, as if waking from a long torpor, true illumination regarding how and why we relate the way we do. The Sun will enter more slow and considerate Taurus tomorrow. Taurus can bring determination to relate in new ways as a result of the illumination received during the double Libra full Moon cycle of the past month. Taurus, when it decides to move or change, does so with great determination. Worth a mention, as well, is that Pluto and Saturn are preparing to begin retrograde motion within the next week or so. Jupiter in its home sign of Sag has already begun its retrograde journey. There may be some end of a beginning that wants attention today. Now retrograde motion doesn’t mean that evolution stops. In fact, a deeper connection to past and present actions, motivations and energy to move forward are all part of retrograde cycles. Life is all about our relationships – with ourselves, with our routines, time, our work, our feelings, our friends, loves, families. We are never at a standstill with any of it, though we could feel stuck. Changes can be so tiny we don’t notice them. Withdrawal can be so incremental we don’t realize we are now almost entirely alone. The opening to the new can be a burst or a lengthy unfoldment. Libra’s sense of balance is an experience of all places on the spectrum. It is where we test the extremes on the journey to our own equilibrium. The movement of the planets highlights different areas of life so that we can find new ways to be.The light can come on and shine the way down a different tributary, a path that is revealed only now, because the stars are aligned and we are ready. There are so many alignments and so many new opportunities to arise, again - to awaken, anew. Chose to allow for the illumination that awaits us with the coming of each dawn, with each end of day. Dream on, live on, and the revelation arrives. Love, Lydia www.soulastro.com [email protected]

ARIES NEW MOON 2019
Happy Aries! Happy first new Moon of the Astrological year. Most systems are go. Mercury has resumed forward motion. This Aries Full Moon has a full speed ahead feeling as all planets are in a rare moment of forward motion. Statement of intention is called for, as is making a step toward the intention. The steps can be internal, almost blind - like saying to oneself, wow! I feel like I want to paint a mural! I want to paint a mural, or a miniature! I feel like painting! Picturing a painting, scribbling a sketch, looking at where the mural will go, feeling like a painter— these are all steps. Aries is so instinctual. It says I am here and I am going to be! It charges in, it sticks its finger in the paint and makes a mark. It not only isn’t thinking about the critics, it doesn’t even know what a critic is! This state of innocent creation, the face of a goofy lamb looking at its mother like, ain’t life grand and then jumping around like a maniac because it feels amazing! That is Aries energy. The ewe looks at the lamb and says, “meh.” Already she is world weary. She has responsibility. She has this nutty, exuberant lamb. Tapping into friskiness - jumping around because it feels amazing, smearing the paint for now reason other than to feel it squished between the fingers, coming back to the instinctual impulse, if not joy, of life in human form, can lead to new ways of being. Life wants to live and Mars/Aries gives us the instinctual fire to frolic and the instinctual guide and impulse to start. Mars is currently in Gemini. So picking up shiny things and gathering ideas and pictures that instinctually feel good to us will help stoke the fire. An instinctual vision board or altar can be fun and helpful at this time. The How/When it is going to manifest doesn’t matter. Just the gathering and assembling of a tableau that feels good is the only remit. The less real world sense it makes the better. Go toward what lights the fire of the senses. We have lots of opportunities for new starts over the course of the year, and Aries New Moon is one of the most natural of them. Find The feet moving, and allow it to turn into a dance. Find yourself humming and allow it to morph into song. Let the voice and the limbs and the digits and the appetite lead the way to sounds and textures and tastes that open up new pathways in the mind, in the body, in the life. Love, Lydia [email protected] www.soulastro.com PS Jupiter turns retrograde on April 10th at 24 degrees Sagittarius. Jupiter rules Sagittarius, a fire sign. We have the opportunity to allow our deep seated beliefs to be revealed and healed, and evolved. This can happen societally, as well. On the 23rd Pluto goes retrograde at 23 degrees Capricorn, and Saturn, ruler of Capricorn, goes retrograde at 21 Capricorn.💗 |
