The New Moon in Aries is New Moon's New Moon- Aries is the first sign of the zodiac leading the way to a new astrological year. At new Moons, we talk of new beginnings. Usually, though, they are events on a continuum. The heart and mind and spirit have been gestating a desire, a thought, an inspiration. And when the urging becomes stronger, action or manifestation in form, in word, in action will occur. Aries is the first sign of the Zodiac and it loves beginnings. New starts and movement on the continuum, can be accompanied by doubt. If that happens, allow yourself to pause give yourself love for your courage to dare and press the reset button to continue forward movement. All is well, all is in perfect timing. The Cardinal energy of Aries often makes a two steps forward one step back dance. Allow yourself to accept the beauty of the movement. The forward march and the backward reflection. Accepting the dance beats butting ones head (and horns) against the wall. It allows you to reframe what you do want in the process of allowing, of manifesting, of living life. Much love to you. The second of this eclipse cycle has the Sun in fiery Mars-ruled Aries eclipsing the Moon in Airy Venus-ruled Libra. Both Mars and Aries, themselves, are currently in Earthy, fixed, survival-focused Taurus. That primary relationship the one that is had with the self is a good place to start with. Taurus is a bit "me first" as it has an imperative to make sure all is safe and secure before it looks up from its knots and hatches being battened down to check on passengers. Sun in Aries is "me first" too, and has an instinctual need to start afresh - again and again as Cardinal signs do. Like Aries, Libra is a Cardinal sign. The emotional, ego need with this Full Moon eclipse is to look at relationships - of all kinds - not just romantic ones - but all kinds of partnerships business/spiritual/sport buddies/familial - and see how they can be made new - to see if there is something to be learned, experienced, shared in a fresh way that is useful for each party. If not, which ones could be let go? Does it bring an enjoyment of beauty? An increase in wealth? Security that makes you feel good? Fun? Adventure? Do you feel valued? Do you value the other party or parties? Is there more to be discovered and shared in a positive, good- feeling way together? With Saturn retrograde in Sag, we continue to look at how the structures of our life are feeding our wisdom, our sense of adventure, our need to work with our intuition. This eclipse is pointing at how that works with our relationship with Self and others. In a few days Jupiter starts a direct motion on Leo- so a recommitment to relationships that continue to be valuable is called for. An easing off from relationships and self-talk that are no longer fruitful can give us the energy to move into greater expansion with renewed creative focus. Start with the self and your intuitive and instinctual relationship to self. Expand outward to the feeling of relating to the environment in which you live and relate to others from that place.
