A poignant Full Moon - the polarity of Sun in Virgo and Moon in Pisces.

Considered a transitional sign in Evolutionary Astrology the Virgo Sun is reviewing all that we have done and become on an ego level so far this lifetime, this year, this day.

The Full Pisces Moon illuminates how our yearning for union with Source is feeling, today, this year, this lifetime.

It is a time of emotional fullness and completion. A time of enjoying what fruits of our efforts and/or our allowing have come to us.

Also it is a time of preparation. From Aries through Leo time, the focus is very much on the Self. As we move through Virgo, we clean house, on the inner and outer, in preparation to go out and meet with the other(s) in Libra.

So as the Moon starts to wane, especially until Venus goes direct on the sixth of September, review how you are feeling about the year so far.

How are your hopes and dreams and intentions filling in? Gratitude felt and expressed for wishes fulfilled, editing of dreams whose flow you'd like to veer in a new direction.

Mostly, rest in the fullness of all that your life is and has become. And begin to prepare to join with all that is and what it's got in store as we move to recognize the life we share in the sea of the collective heart and soul.

The New Moon in Leo allows us to feel right into the core of our nascent creativity. Expansive, optimistic and lucky Jupiter has now moved into Virgo, grounding some our creative ventures and showing how they might look as they grow and mature.

With the current trine to Uranus retrograde in Aries we are instinctually able to access the potential of our primal and very individual creative fire.

Leo time is all about creative self expression. What we create can be children or art or a really warm, welcoming and generous environment for ourselves and our companions. We create a restful home from which our whole life radiates.

Leo rules the heart and the love that radiates from that heart can purify and envigorate.

Basking in the Sun and allowing ourselves to feel how our own solar fire radiates in and from us can be experienced at this time.

New Moons are powerful times for releasing. They make a way clear, in the space between breaths, in the space between when the Moon rests, practically invisible, before waxing again to fullness.

Rest, release, breathe. Rest, release, breathe. The out breathe will fan your fire with no effort. Rest, release, breathe.

The Leo new Moon reminds us that we are on the way, that we are always on the way, and our best friend within is right there inside us, humming a favorite song, telling a silly joke to distract us but keep us walking when the road gets a little steep and tricky.

Past hurts and traumas can be road signs to healing and creativity but the true mark of the introduction to the self is that it feels good.

Leo rules the heart.

We are called to recognize once again, the fire kept burning for us by our higher self. When we let the sun bake away what is no longer necessary, we become the right size. We see the light inside that was there all along warming our way home.
