GEMINI NEW MOON 2017
Mutable Gemini is ready to switch it up after the walk across the pasture checking the security of the fences that was Taurus.
The Gemini new Moon is ready for a wind to blow some strange and unknown seeds into the garden to change the view.
Gemini likes new things, new and shiny ideas and ways of being.
So far in the astrological year we have begun things in Cardinal sign of Aries, we have decided what we might like to commit to and grow in Taurus. And in Gemini we start to find how we are transforming those things and how they are changing us.
Mutable Gemini brings winds of change – of ideas and of ingredients. We make bread from flour and pen and ink can make a book.
What kind of every day magical transformation can you see in your own life?
What is glinting in the silverware drawer yearning to be used? Gemini is a magpie loving to collect shiny things. Mercury, ruler of Gemini, is moving through Taurus who likes to make use of things.
Use your imagination with a practical eye. That gleaming thing that catches your gaze could be just the puzzle piece you need to transform or complete a project or idea.
. The Mars in Gemini to Saturn in Sagittarius opposition asks us to be discerning about the shiny things we pick up. Saturn in Sag asks us to involve our intuition as we build thought and idea into something real. It may transform the original idea into something even cooler.
My dad died last week. His body cremated to dust. I am imagining our relationship now that he is no longer in the body. I believe the relationship will be a new and different one that may take some time to even recognize is there. Perhaps memory and love will lead to a feeling of camaraderie beyond what I knew before. . I will look for shiny reminders of him from the corners of my awareness.
Gemini rules the nervous system, the shoulders, arms and hands, and, the lungs. While spotting shiny ideas it is helpful to rest the arms and turn the hands in a receiving position and breathe; resting the nerves. Some of the best ideas come from communion with the Higher Mind and the wise, gleaming universe within.

SCORPIO FULL MOON 2017
The Scorpio full Moon opposes the Sun in Taurus. The Taurus/Scorpio polarity is a powerful one. Both are fixed signs, which gives us the fortitude to dig in our heals. Yep, heals. The potential for healing and transformation is great.
With Taurus, we are healing the way to valuing the person we are and the life we have. We see that we have a responsibility to ourselves to find the way to a life that is authentic for us.
Taurus works well with habits and has the ability to forge new grooves in our daily thoughts and actions that can be to our benefit. Taurus often needs to work out what the focus is on its own.
Scorpio works with the shared resources of partners to effect transformation. It invites the Taurus out of isolation to see how these new values and habits are strengthened when applied in real life.
When our thoughts and ideas and habits gets an overhaul, the life experience WILL be transformed. We then need to adjust to that transformation on the inner. And so it goes.
In Taurus we are thrown back on ourselves to find who we are and how we care for ourselves which starts with an internal impulse. We see how that feels in how we speak to ourselves, what we eat and how we nurture the Self on all levels. The Scorpio full Moon brings us into the world and we see how the nurturing holds up as we walk about - go to work, recreate and interact with others.
Scorpio gets us out of the vacuum so we can galvanize the insight and wisdom and habits we've gathered inside of ourselves. The ruler of Scorpio, Pluto, is making its long march through Capricorn. Capricorn tells us it's time to invoke the power of personal transformation.
Taurus’ ruler, Venus, is in Aries. Both Capricorn and Aries are cardinal signs that like to start things. They sometimes have a little stage fright after beginning a new stage of transformation. So be kind this full Moon to yourself and others. Take a breathe and allow yourself to back up and regroup before proceeding. Fill up with Love and Compassion and carry on.
Positive self talk can be helpful. Give yourself credit for how courageous you've been so far this lifetime. Recall the successes, large and small. And by successes I mean the things you've been and done that have in a heart centered way, enhanced your journey and the journeys of your fellow travelers.
The North Node has moved into Leo. So creative self expression will open the door to transformation, and how we value ourselves, our time, our relationships. Let your emotions and your desire for a new way guide you to your medium of choice – conversation, painting, meditation, cooking. The pen, the bare foot on the dance floor, the song in the bath will clear the way to the transformation offered by both the inner gaze and the eagle’s aerie-eye view.
