LEO NEW MOON 2022
Call to individuation!!!
The Leo full moon is going to lead us into quite a liberating time.
Leo says “this is me!” via creative self expression. It interprets its experience of the physical, emotional and interpersonal levels by making something that others can experience, and, perhaps, interpret. Others may identify with the expression even if their experience was very different.
Leo is ruled by the Sun that shines on us all.
The expression can be a song, a pie, a painting, a love affair, a rant, the making of a child.
On July 31st, the call to individuate will vibrate across the world. Uranus will conjunct the North Node (the personal call to individuate) and Mars (the drive to do it!) all in Taurus. Venus-ruled Taurus wants to find personal value in our actions, routines, belief systems, belongings, relationships. It asks us to find beauty and value in what we ingest: the food we eat, the information we sift through, the ideas we take on board.
This conjunction of the North Node, Uranus and Mars may be shocking, invigorating, illuminating, electrifying, traumatic, delicious.
It will NOT, however, be predictable.
Uranus has been in Taurus for a while now. Depending on where it is in your chart by house and how it is aspecting other planets in the chart will indicate what areas of each person’s life has been up for a value review/ renovation/upgrade or complete rebuild.
This conjunction is going to switch the klieg lights on this area of the life and say it’s showtime!’
We may well be in our underpants when those lights go on. We may be eating a third bowl of cereal while watching the same ridiculous Tik Tok for the umpteenth time. Because silliness is the only thing that makes life bearable. That and cereal.
But uh, yeah, we will be awakened and we may need to shift, pack, quit, and think on our feet.
Again, I have no clue how this will play out for me or for you.
Perhaps, at least be wearing clean underwear on the day.
The south Node in Scorpio, the polarity for these shenanigans, had secrets. It had back room deals with untrustworthy people. It had us plotting our escape. It may have had us smiling to hide the fear of taking the step to liberation, to keep the status quo during uncertain times. It was thinking it needed that partner’s money, that company’s status and paycheck.
Taurus hasn’t got a lot of patience for secrets, masks, jerks, or back room deals.
The Uranian lightning may flash and reveal a shocking scene taking place in the shadows. These shadows might be in the boardroom, the bedroom, or in a secret closet in our own memory.
Flash! The light goes on revealing the mystery in high relief. The Sun is in Leo. It may feel VERY dramatic.
Sometimes a situation needs to be dramatic to highlight truly how far a situation has gone that we have been accepting, tolerating, abiding – hoping that it would change? Hoping that we would magically have the opportunity, the courage, the invitation to freaking MOVE!
Well, here it is, my friends!
The back may finally be against the wall. The sheath of denial and excuses for staying may, at last, be in tatters at our feet. You could feel the situation may not be withstood for one more minute! Some of us will be removed entirely from the circumstance - waking up on the other side of the street- or on the other side of the world.
Maybe you’ll finally throw away that sock that is beyond mending. Or, you’ll ditch the relationship, the job, the leftovers. You’ll get in the next train out of the town whose politics and policies are so beyond your own value system you just have to up stakes and GTFO. Like right now.
Wow what’s it like when everyone feels like this AT THE SAME TIME!
Maybe throw those leftovers out today. Do some meditating on what you really, really want at the New Moon. Make yet another gratitude list. Make a list of what you value. Ask your higher self, the Universe, the ancestors and anyone else who is listening for help, clarity, guidance and grounding. We going to need it.

CAPRICORN FULL MOON
Capricorn full moon on July 13 2022 at 2:37 PM EST is at 21degrees 21 minutes.
Capricorn’s ruler, Saturn, is at 24 degrees Aquarius retrograde.
The Sun of course is in Cancer until 22 July.
The theme of responsibility for our own emotional wherewithal and for naming and affirming our own agency and personal authority continues. This can look different for each person.
It can be marching, placards held high, in the streets.
I can be keeping the vibration high by any means possible: meditation, time in nature, laughter, encouragement of self and others.
It can be letter writing campaigns, making amends to an old friend, opting out of habits and routines that no longer serve the self or the collective.
The call is to balance the emotional and intuitive body with the Cancer Sun. Assumption of personal authority while coexisting with governmental, corporate and familial authority is the call of the Capricorn full Moon.
The Capricorn/Cancer energies are ongoing as Pluto, planet of power and evolution, remains in Capricorn until next year. Pluto will dips its toe into Aquarius for a while starting on 24 March to 11 June 2023.
How to hold our own amid upheaval of all kinds IS part of the curriculum at this time.
To find ways to steady ourselves, first, is key. This calibration and recalibration may be necessary several times a day and through the night. We may need all of the trusted tools in the toolkit to find peace and comfort. We may need to adopt many more tools as we go.
Fortunately social media is chockablock with people sharing what practices work for them.
This calibration is happening at all levels and in all systems at the moment so it’s like keeping one’s footing as wave after wave rolls under the ship and moves on.
I can recommend keeping it simple. I can recommend meditation. I can recommend journaling and vision work. I can recommend gratitude lists more than ever. I can recommend encouraging one another. I can recommend encouraging ourselves.
Good things are happening every day. Little and big wins are being had.
Mars is in Taurus until August 21. The best tool we have is self care and self love. It is time to refine our list of what we value most and to allow a life filled with those things we value most to be part of the daily experience.
It can mean where can we live to experience what we value? What can we do for work that enhances the life experience? What type of routine works best for our health and overall stability.
Do we want to be surrounded by trees? People? Mountains? Skyscrapers?
With Jupiter in early degrees of Aries, we can instinctually tune in to what makes us feel most expansive and optimistic. More of that, please! 😊

What stars are glimmering in each one of us from the dawn of our own history that can illuminate our paths right now?
Pay attention to dreams – ask the higher self to reveal, in sleep, symbols and actual words what would be most helpful for us to see and know at the moment.
We can meditate each day and invite our higher self, our soul, to be embodied, listened to, and known.
We have more power and ability than ever to step into our own vastness. We have more ability to know, to be informed by a greater wisdom. To be motivated by our inner stars.
This isn’t just talk. This is becoming more real by the day. Invite it in. Allow the shift. Embody the new reality.
