The fixed opposition of the Aquarius Sun to the full Leo Moon can be one of the most powerful and intoxicating of the year.
The Leo full moon bursts with creative passion. The Aquarius Sun has the energy to share the love.
Leo is the sign of creative self expression. It wants to say “here I am, here’s what I made, here’s what I do” in a personal and warm-hearted way.
Leo rules all that we create from that heart -centered drive: whether it is making babies, a meal, a painting, or an extra personal interpretive dance. Aquarius Energy is in charge of friends, of groups. Aquarius also drives us to be an individual within a group – not a member of a herd.
How can I share unique gifts and creativity and enthusiasm
with the collective without losing what makes me “Me?”
I guess we can always take inspiration from TV shows and films that feature an ensemble- a rag tag team of players, each of whom brings something to the table.
This full Moon is a great time to look at what we, as individuals bring to the table.
It’s also a good time to say, I’d prefer to cook for one! To thine own self be true.
Are we bringing our gifts to a table that no longer supports the weight of our gifts?
What to share, when to share? Knowing when to gestate, ruminate and create in a solitary fashion is just as important as knowing where and when to reveal a part of our creative nature to the group.
Aquarius not only represents the Service to the whole. It also represents the outcast, the loner, the rebellious one.
It is wise to be aware of the purpose for the isolation, the separation, the rebellion— and just as importantly— the purpose for the joining with others.
As we move through the astrological signs, hopefully we become increasingly aware of our own guidance system – the one honed by experience, by meditation, by trust in the voice of the Higher Self.
With Mars and Venus conjunct in Capricorn at the full Moon it’s a good time to invest our energy doing what we love- on our own or with others.
On 18 February, the Sun moves into Pisces. The twelfth sign of the zodiac - Pisces embodies the energy of all of the signs. Here we can tune into all kinds of dreams, wishes, hopes, desires, accomplishments, experiences, and emotions.
We can dip into the length and breadth and depth of ideas and memories and enjoy the viewing of them as we visualize the minutes, hours, and days we next want to enjoy.
