SAGITTARIUS FULL MOON 2018
Trusting the Inner Wisdom
The Moon is full in the sign of Sagittarius on May 29 2018.
This means the Moon is in opposition to the Sun in Gemini. Both are mutable signs. Mutable signs are willing and able to transmit energy ideas and action with fluidity. It can feel like magic. It can feel like making lemons into lemonade.
The inner guidance, the intuition is the concern of Sagittarius. Gemini likes to gather the glimmering bits bobs and bytes of information.
Sagittarius knows how to synthesis the information. It chews and digests it and internalizes what is True.
With the evolution of human consciousness, we are being called, by our inner wisdom, to become more and more comfortable with the sound of our internal wisdom.
It becomes easier to do the more we give ourselves permission to recognize and follow our own guidance, the inner urging.
The emotional body guides us to what feels right. The mental body in Gemini invites us to gather information. In Sagittarius we synthesize information and, I would say, experiences. Sag is an adventurer, a traveler of both the inner planes and the plains of the world. Sagittarius traditionally rules not only higher education, but religion.
Sagittarius’ ruler, Jupiter, is the great expander. The planet highlights whatever it shines on, especially our journey toward inner Truth.
As we synthesize and root through information gathered in Gemini, we ask our inner s lives, “is it true?”
In the past, religions ( and governments – which sometimes stand in for religion) would TELL us what was true.
We were directed, for the most part to take it as gospel, and were discouraged from running it through our own filter.
There is room for contemplation and interpretation of some doctrine within the confines of some religions.
We are still, many of us, programmed to accept edicts from priest, politician, party, parent, boss, teacher, mentor, spiritual guru, brand that we like, diet, even a peer, actor, sports figure, social media icon that we admire.
I still take on board most of what Jamie Oliver says as my own truth. But I do run his recipes and politics through my own filter and I still think eating octopus is wrong.
In the Aquarian age we are learning to discern what is true for us apart from what a person of spiritual and educational authority says.
Jupiter is currently retrograde in Scorpio. We have an opportunity to examine and shed a big light on transforming what we feel is true for us— in our gut.
Full Moon— how we feel — how we historically and on an ego level have believed — in Sagittarius— how we use our intuition to understand what we believe and, in turn how we teach ourselves and process new information and belief systems. We are reading and watching and finding new pieces of information to fuel our evolution all the time. We may not always be conscious of the sifting but it can be in every choice we make.
It is useful if we have an inner guide that we trust that will enable us to take on board what is useful.
Take what you like and leave the rest.
We are, in Gemini Sun and Sagittarius full Moon resetting our bullshit detectors.
Sagittarius is the king/queen of raining down bullshit from its ivory tower of ultimate truth.
Any one of us can get on our high horse and insist the listener come around to our way of thinking/doing.
The other part of this full Moon and is it’s Jupiter Retrograde time is to know when to listen, to understand, to walk away. The ivory tower is also a great place for meditation and quiet contemplation on the idea that each of us has a higher self and each of us is on a different stage of our evolutionary development. Honoring each one’s journey and process is the wisdom that can come from this Jupiter retrograde in Scorpio.
We still share with friends and acquaintances and our senators and other legislators when it feels right.
And, I will attempt not to ram my “truth” down anyone else’s throat. It is a waste of energy for all concerned and there are much more fun things to be getting on with in this short life.
Gemini is a mutable sign. It’s ruler, Mercury, is currently in Gemini. It moves from piece of info to piece of info, gathering it like seaglass and shells from the beach.
It takes home the pouch of multicolored glass and its polarity to Sagittarius helps to move through what has been gathered, keeping the ones that feel right.
If the gatherer just chucks all of it in a bowl, without examination, some of the shells, with remnants of the odd sea creature, can start to reek.
This can happen when we’ve gathered a lot of information and taken it on board without running it through our own inner Truth. Our mind and heart can get bogged down with outdated ideas, to do lists, rants and practices that seemed like a good idea when we downloaded them to our home screen.
Jupiter shines on truth and lies and all that is in between.
We can develop an inner voice that will say “yep, nope, and needs further examination” to whatever we ask it.
Jupiter is retrograde until July 10. We have a good bit of time to expand our inner perception— the gateway to the Truth.
It can be a fun time. Jupiter likes Fun as much as Truth. Both can be found in the anyplace, the anytime, when we tune in to ourselves.
I’d say, “have fun out there,” but I don’t want to tell you what to do.

TAURUS NEW MOON 2018
Today , along with the New Moon, Uranus makes the much anticipated move into Taurus. Mars moves into Aquarius, the sign ruled by Uranus.
Taurus makes a natural square to Uranus, tying the routine loving comfort-needing rest- obsessed Taurus with the bolt out of the blue-throwing, shock of genius chucking, lightning flash out of seeming nowhere Uranus.
Where it will go and what kind of music they will make together no one knows.
I am a big believer in working with planetary energies and allowing flow with the transits that guide and suggest the way forward— the gentle promptings that ask as to look at what can be released, adopted, assimilated.
I am not going to predict how Uranus will behave in the I feeds to Taurus. The planetary experience through the signs and houses will not be pre-designed.
If I say it will shake your house to it’s foundations, it may give you great design ideas that lead you to a career doing it for others. Uranus rules friends and community. It chimes in when we join with others for fun and for a cause.
If I say Uranus will bring you the exciting love match you’ve always dreamed of, that person may shake every codependent loose fitting and shaky bolt from every bit of you til you the individuated You rises from the pool of tears and laughter left on your floor. Or the new partner will just be your best friend ever.
Uranus in any sign will not be contained or predicted. It is the finger in the light socket. Uranus comes in where the other planets have failed to nudge us like the velvety nose of our favorite pony, to transform to individuate, to grow. And, Uranus may, shove us, coffee cup flying, into not just another routine or reality, but into another dimension.
OR, Uranus could just give us a great way to make or morning routine much more efficient so we can get a chapter of that book written each day so we can share our genius with the world.
Uranus is the higher octave of Mercury. Mercury is the messenger of the Gods. Mercury carries a the message in a letter.
Uranian messages may come in more unusual, unexpected, immediate forms.
Are you getting the gentler messages and pony nudges of the other planets? Have the changes you KNOW you need to make been made?
Okay, then.
Uranus in Taurus may INSIST that the food that blows your stomach up like a balloon be released from your diet. It may insist that you add bodywork to your self-care regimen. It may insist that the negative or just plain mean people, habits and behaviors be removed from the life. Ignore at your potentially extreme discomfort.
Taurus is learning to love and value itself. It will, in turn, know how to love and value others and the world. It may rub off the rough edges with a particularly high grade of sand paper.
Using harmful chemicals in your laundry detergent, deodorant, clothing or garden? The chemical sensitivity in your own body may finally have repercussions. Certainly they affect your neighbors – human, insect and plant— and they affect what is downstream.
The basic daily care of ourselves and our planet—- the effects food, garden, rest and what we stuff in our brains with media, may be felt.
Mars in Aquarius insists that we take action, reset the grooves in our daily path, make new mental and interpersonal and inter species connections that are more inspired and inspiring to benefit the way we love ourselves. Our vibration will then radiate a truer expression of what it is we want to create in the world. Sit in your vibration and pick out the bits that muddle the frequency for what you well and truly want.
Ease your mind and feed it only things that nurture and benefit it’s ability for useful thought, creativity and fun. Some are super concerned about this diet or that and they cram their poor heads with self hatred, judgement and demeaning loops when they find it doesn’t achieve the desired results.
The only diet I can recommend is this one: Emmett Fox’s Seven Day Mental diet (google it) can be life changing and a great preparation for Uranus through Taurus. In short, make a decision to think good thoughts. If you think a negative thought start again. Do it for seven days. Do it for seven minutes if you can! 💗
New mental inroads can be made at this time. Drop repeated thoughts of old traumas, slights, or mistakes made by yourself or others. Allow your mind to have a gorgeous clean meadow, mountain or seashore in which to dream, rest, relax, create and move on in this precious life on this precious planet. Clear the mind. Give it space to rest and bloom again.
Love means care, it means value, it means thoughtful maintenance of our mental spiritual physical emotional bodies.
Feel into what makes you feel safe and secure. Is it your inner life and connection to Source? Things of this world that give illusions of safety and security may need re-evaluation.
Starting there can allow us to be tuned to the radio frequency of Uranus in Taurus. Allying with our true values is always the business of Taurus. This time, the Universe is taking notice and will share its flash of genius to move us in new directions.
Remember, we are moving, collectively, into the Age of Aquarius. The Uranus ingress into Taurus initiates Taurus to this new age. Uranus is asking us to revolutionize our value system. Start with our own minds and valuing how and what we think. Sit in that cleansed mind and radiate outward your most valued and valuable thought. This can, indeed, be the truest of actions.
