VIRGO FULL MOON 2019
A Full Moon at 0 degrees Virgo when the Sun has just entered Pisces packs a powerful energy.
The Full Virgo Moon asks us above all, to let go. To let go of that which takes up too much space in our head, too much emotional or psychic energy.
The Sun is now in Neptune-ruled Pisces, bringing to light our dreams wishes hopes desires illusions and delusions.
The Virgo Moon can help to makes sense of what arises at this time.
Virgo’s ruler, Mercury, is transiting Pisces and is conjunct Neptune. That which has been obscured from the conscious mind may be revealed in the light of this full Moon.
Virgo is expert at organizing and analyzing thoughts and ideas.
Pisces deals in the dream state, the place between sleeping and waking. Pisces Knows the heart’s desire.
Virgo can help to discern which yearnings and occupations of the mind are useful to us. Virgo, being an Earth sign, is practical and can spin the thread of dreams into reality. Virgo can lift that which we want to attract from the cobwebby haze of the day dream into the light of day — to a tarot spread, a vision board, a list of requests from our higher Selves.
A helping hand is being given by Venus conjunct Saturn in Capricorn. Venus is the lower octave of Neptune— accessible in an earthly way. Venus understands the nature of our desires and Saturn, especially in its ruler, Capricorn, can give form and structure to what we’ve conceived and organized in the mind with the full Moon in Virgo.
Dreams becoming a reality is a reality.

AQUARIUS NEW MOON 2019
GET ACQUAINTED WITH THE HIGHER MIND

Hi All!
Aquarius rules friends and community, so I want to say hi to my friends and the community that reads and shares these twice monthly posts that I have been writing and painting for some years now.
A new Moon closes the door to the preceding month (moonth) and opens the door to the next.
With each ending we have the morph into anew beginning. Rarely is it a hard stop. Time is an illusion, anyway, and I have Neptune on the IC so I can be forgiven vagueness and run-on sentences.
The new Aquarius Moon, conjunct the Sun, conjunct Mercury ( in Aquarius) are sextiling Jupiter.
Jupiter is the optimistic Benefic who infuses us with a feeling of a comfortably full belly – or the way to get a full belly on all levels.
When sextiling three personal planets in Aquarius we are being opened to the Higher Mind. The Higher Mind is everything that is too big to fit into our pea-sized human brain. It is the CLOUD of all clouds that holds the way to ALL THAT IS.
Mercury in Aquarius sextiling Jupiter likes all caps. Jupiter in the sign it rules – Sagittarius- definitely likes all caps. It likes the expansion of the mind. It will travel to the ends of the Earth or the end of its meditational playground to expand and grow into a new and more evolved consciousness.
Now, that is what most of us are doing here, anyway. Here on earth, galumphing or gliding around our homes and minds – we are here for expansion.
So right now is a great time to get in there and see what our higher selves have to say to our human minds and hearts.
Anyone with a bookstore or Netflix may have spent January 2019 giving at least a tip of the hat to some light Marie Kondoing or the Swedish Death Clean which is a bit more up my street. Some conscious examination of our space and possessions is being made. The practice must, by extension, connect to our beliefs, our dreams, wishes, hopes and desires. That said, there should be enough space, now, for some cosmic expansion and attunement.
Mars is finishing up its transit through Aries – entering Taurus on Feb 14.
If you have been working with the initiatory and freshly energized fire within, then the Mars Pluto Square on the second of February allowed some transformation of how we move about the earth plane and interact with others — all wanting to express and evolve.
When Mars moves into Taurus, we can ground some of these new ways of being in a way that serves our very survival and the comfort of our nest.
Did we share how we’ve been feeling and ask for and give understanding?
Did we honor our own explosive feelings and channel them in a useful way?
Aquarius is ruled by Uranus. Mars in Aries will conjunct Uranus on 12 February.
The energy of liberation is available to us. It can come as a feeling of new beginning, like an awakening in the morning to find that which held us in bondage yesterday- physically, ideologically, experientially, is well in the rear view mirror and we are able to assume forward motion unhindered.
Another example of liberating from conditions installed during Capricornian energy is the scaffolding that helps us to build the house.
Once the house is complete, it is no longer needed and the scaffolding is obscuring the view. We do need structure and the authority of physical rules on the Earth plane.
In Capricorn we learn about authority. We see where we fit in the structure of family and society. In Aquarius, we shake loose the bounds of authority that no longer serve us.
When we are conscious about the process, we can take down the scaffolding in a way that doesn’t damage the building or the passers by.
If the Aquarian energy is received like an earthquake or a tornado it could take down the scaffolding and the building we took such care to erect.
Often we are somewhere in the middle. We are aware and conscious. We are blindsided and shaken.
We are conscious and maybe a little wobbly.
It is all grist for the mill.
Aquarius tells us what is needed without any sugar coating.
That is why the gods can sometimes seem cruel and careless with their lessons. They don’t sugar coat, but they do share what is needed in perfect timing.
Come on, human, you wanted the truth! You wanted to awaken! You wanted to evolve! I am handing the Truth to you on a plate!
So at this new moon, detachment is useful. Detachment helps us to take the big truths a bit less personally – reviewing them from a broader perspective. Rest is always helpful to carry us into new ways of being.
Upon awakening, if we rest on the bed a few minutes before checking the phone or hopping up to do planks or whatever, we can feel the Self we are awakening to in this new day.
Shifts can happen while the mind is elsewhere, at rest and in deep communion with the Higher Self.
Evolution can happen incrementally, and overnight, if we let it.
Leo is creatively self expressing and its polarity, Aquarius is Self expressing in a broader, more expansive, more universal way.
We see our own growth and release from the bondage of authority that does not serve the path of our individuation.
Sure, there can be a wobble when we are seeing a more authentic self and taking that self out on the town where others can see it.
The objectivity and detachment of Aquarius helps us. It is the second to last sign of the Zodiac. Aquarius shows us how to take ourselves a bit less seriously and to see where our authentic selves are of far greater service to the whole. Each true voice is needed and wants to be heard.
