The Leo/Aquarius axis is fixed. It is strong and opinionated and when it decides to turn its energy to something, the focus is strong.
Aquarius is an air sign and is of the Mind.in the physical body it rules the circulation system and the ankles.
Leo is a fire sign ruling the heart and spine.
It’s relevant to remember the circulation system feeds blood to the heart, just as Air feeds Fire in the Astrological system.
Aquarius is able to “see” and “hear” ideas and information that isn’t available from ordinary channels.
It can receive information that is swirling around in the ether, waiting to be received and shared to us mortals.
This information, in turn, can feed the creative heart of Leo.
All of the signs relate to each other in some way. Leo and Aquarius have a personal/transpersonal relationship.
Leo is self centered. It creates because it wants to, it must express itself. It must actualize, through creativity, whatever is unique about us.
We may have to separate ourselves from the group to feel who we are as individuals. We may imagine ourselves outside of time, outside of the body to experience the impulse of who we are and how we can express that core impulse.
Meditation, nature, and retreat can support this process.
A retreat can be weeks, a lifetime or ten minutes.
We use what we can. Source will expand into whatever vacuum we make available to receive it.
Aquarius must transmit the information it is receiving. It delivers that information without necessarily knowing or caring how it is received. It is the messenger. The message comes from Source, the Creator, the Universe.
If we can receive and use the information received, we are able to individuate from the mainstream, from the herd, from the collective. We are able to use the message refined for our personal evolution. The more we are able to tune in to the flow that is specifically our own, and live and create in coordination with it, the more we contribute to our own creative unfoldment and to the good of the whole.
It makes sense that Aquarius’ ruler, Uranus, is the higher octave of Mercury, messenger of the gods.
Uranus rules astrology. It rules the internet.
The Leo Sun/Aquarius Moon truly asks us what is the Universe telling me and how can I take what I am hearing to heart?
We tune our receiver – the heart, the mind, the spirit and we receive what the Source is offering. The fine tuning of our own receptivity will personalize the transmission — a message just for us.
The Leo can take that message and creative expression of that experience.
When we share our personal creative expression it can inspire that fire in others. That is the dance of Leo and Aquarius. It is personal and it is universal when shared with others.
Jupiter resumed forward motion on August 11 in Sagittarius and the same day Uranus went retrograde at 7 degrees Taurus.
We can expand our journey, expand our awareness, expand our creativity.
Uranus retrograde can enlighten the places where we have played it safe, where we acted on things as if our lives depended on it — and perhaps those places can be healed and cuddled and given encouragement to move on.
Taurus is Square to the Leo/Aquarius axis. It wants to experience the beauty of the world. It wants to be self- sufficient. It may value safety first. At this full Moon we are finding a way to soothe the need for security of Taurus, feed the creative self actualization of Leo, and allow the liberation from the herd of Aquarius.
The Sun and the moon are visible to us. Going outside and basking the heart and the mind in the light of each is a useful and nourishing place to start.
Lots of love, Lydia
