Happy Lunar New Year of the Wood Dragon.
All planets are in forward motion until April speeding things up.
Aquarius travels faster than lightning and its ruler, Uranus, is now direct in Taurus. Taurus energy is not quite so speedy. It likes to consider and check its footing before it steps into the field. Uranus is square to the new moon. We can find the familiar in the unexpected to get a toehold in the new reality as it takes shape. Taurus rules what we value both in objects and relationships but also our value system. With current external events bringing secrets and hidden agendas into the clear Aquarius light if day, we may be reevaluating what we find important, worthwhile, and true. In this process, we may feel an urgency to let go of relationships with people, with providers to which we’ve been subscribing, to companies/charities we’ve been patronizing /supporting. We may need to do this as we find more information that reveals they aren’t in alignment with our values. We just may not be able to stomach seeing our $10 backdraft to that streaming service any longer when it is revealed where that money is going. The nodal axis is making a harmonious aspect to the new Moon that will help us to know when to move on from alliances that no longer line up with what we know and find to be true. The North Node is in Aries and the South Node is in Libra until early next year. We are learning to balance how we care for the self and trust our instincts, and how and when and with whom or what we engage.
Things will likely be moving in ways we didn’t expect even when we are looking out for wild cards. The wild cards will have wild cards. So, it is good to keep in balance in the day to day as much as possible. It is great to have what we CAN plan for sorted out. Groceries in the pantry, cars in good order, car with a full tank, eyeglasses repaired, cash on hand, etc.
Aquarius rules friends and community. At this new Moon we can review and decide how we can serve our friends and the wider world. Saturn in Pisces makes a harmonious aspect to Jupiter in Taurus at the new moon helping to find ways for our dreams of a better world for ALL to take shape. Mars enters Aquarius on the 15thand Venus joins it on the 17th. Love and service. Who are we serving and why? With Pluto mostly in Aquarius (it backs into Capricorn one last time from 2 September until 20 November 2024) until 2043, this new Moon is a good time to align with our values. It is up to each one to bring their specific light to the group. Led by open hearts and expanded minds, I believe there is hope for us yet.
