VIRGO NEW MOON 2021
The New Moon at 14 degrees 37 minutes Virgo occurs on 6 September 2021 at 8:51 PM EST. The Sun and Moon make an earth trine to retrograde Uranus in Taurus. Virgo is ruled by Mercury and Uranus is the higher octave of Mercury. We have greater access to higher wisdom that can be accessed by going within. The New Moon invites us to take time to listen to the Higher Self to see how it can give insight, information and wisdom to the regular old walking/talking/interacting/ chatting self. We can then take the wisdom on board and integrate it into our daily life, our daily mindset. Perhaps new ways of engaging the Self are called for: how is your self talk game? Is it kind, encouraging and soothing? Does it bring in fun, new ideas and illuminating projects? Perhaps trying new ways of interacting with others is called for. Virgo likes to organize, sift, and sort. It likes to joke around and have fun with words and games. It likes to find ever better and wiser and more efficient ways to get things done so there is more time and space for new ideas, inner and outer journeys and interesting conversations. There is a reason they say we have to do a clear out if we want to welcome the new into our lives. Virgo is a dab hand at rearranging and clearing so that there is room for the New that we are attracting into our experience. On 10 September, Venus enters Scorpio. On 14 September Mars enters Libra. With these two personal planets in signs of relating and the sharing of resources, it is a great time to relate with others in new ways: finding ways to partner up, share ideas, projects, fun and adventures. It can be a bit of a Stone Soup time- starting with an empty pot and seeing what kind of soup can be made when each of us contributes the to the party. Virgo is in charge of healing. We turn attention, as we approach the Equinox later this month, to adjusting to the changing of season. Just as we may prepare our wardrobe for the change in temperature, we can also can prepare the body and mind for the time to come. Our inner nature can inform us what foods will support our system in the new season. Our inner nature can inform us of when to join with others and when to conserve energy. Virgo is at the half way point of the astrological year. It is the sixth of the 12 signs. The first five are focused on building the self as an individual. Virgo takes time to review that self we have been building before we embark on the next six signs which have a more outward social/communal/group minded focus. The energy to for the season ahead comes from the new Moon’s time of quiet reflection, nourishing food and rest. Then, refreshed and renewed, we proceed with good.orderly.direction.
