The New Moon in Libra calls us to contemplate anew our relationship with the self/Self. Libra is a cardinal air sign, so it likes thinking about new beginnings. Libra is ruled by Venus, the planet that likes to relate, especially if it helps us find out more about ourselves. Venus is currently in Virgo, which looks at what is working and prepares to go of what is not. This process may have been more intense while Virgo's ruler, Mercury, was retrograde, Mercury went direct on October 9th, but is still in the shadow as it returns to foward motion. So the reflections and retrospection of the past few weeks will still resonate and offer increasing clarity on who and how we want to be in relation to ourselves and the world at large. Libra's ruler, Venus, will be making an opposition this week to Neptune, currently retrograde in Pisces. What may be resurfacing, on a personal and global scale, is how we have applied blurry logic to our objects of affection or fear. Humans can make gods/demigods of pretty much anything or anyone. And the way we may have projected qualities on those objects of hatred or desire may be up for intense review this week. You may already have seen it in your life or on the news. It helps to see where our energies have gone in the past to project glory or terror on another - the energy that abides in us, as well. With a Libra new Moon it is time to call those projected bits home and love them all into our own personal sense of whole- ness. The reminder, again and again is the only mood we can truly affect is our own. The world we see is experienced through the lens of each individual's eye. Love yourself in the dark of the Moon. Love yourself home. It is the one way to the Truth. Lots of love, Lydia www.soulastro.com [email protected]
