ARIES NEW MOON SOLAR ECLIPSE

The second Aries new Moon of 2023 is made more unusual as it is also an unusual hybrid solar eclipse is when both an annular and a total eclipse are viewable, depending where you are in the world. It takes place at 12:13 AM EST on April 20th at 29 degrees 50 minutes ARIES. 29 is a critical degree adding extra import to this new Moon. Whatever ideas/initiatives/practices you thought of starting at the 00 degree new Aries new Moon on March 21st give attention to again at the 29 degree ARIES New Moon. Refine and affirm what is wanted going forward. Write it down. Take some photos to remind you of what is desired. Imagine it already is active and realized in your life. Close the book on things that don’t fit with the new vision/ideas/ideals.
When Mercury goes retrograde on 21 April at 15 degrees Taurus, keep up the reminders. Taurus retrograde Mercury will give time for these intentions to take form – refining the idea, reflecting on how you really want it to be, reframing possibility into plan and form.
You’ll have a better feeling for the new set up around the next eclipse on the Full Scorpio Moon on May 5.
About 15 minutes after the new Moon, the Moon will enter Taurus followed by the Sun at 4:14 AM EST.
Jupiter is nearly conjunct the Sun and Moon at the eclipse adding an optimistic tone. It could also make emotions and instincts larger than life for a bit, so riding that wave til things calm down in Taurus could be a good way to go.
Aries ruler, Mars, is in Cancer making a Sextile to Mercury in Taurus giving a harmonious, intuitive cast to the thoughts and words connected to actions. Venus in Gemini makes a mutable square to Saturn in Pisces inviting us to get our feelings of authority in line with what we love and value.
Pluto, of course, is still at the critical 00 degrees of Aquarius so the Sun will make a fixed square to Pluto when it enters Taurus on April 20th.
Times are calling us to evolve. The times are urging us onward and into the embodiment of our leveled up selves. Yep I just said that. There are huge influxes of light from the Sun from the universe as a whole and from our higher selves at this time. I choose to buy into this idea that time has come to allow ourselves to be more enlightened, more empowered, more encouraged and more involved in our own expansion.
And now I’m going to have a nice lie down to allow all of these energies to find their way into my system.
At this new Moon: rest, assimilate, coalesce. We’ll know how to act and when to act if we allow the dark of the moon to do its mysterious and magnetic work.
