AQUARIUS FULL MOON 2020
EUREKA!
The Full Aquarius Moon is at 11 degrees 45 minutes at 5:58 AM EST on 3 August, 2020.
The Sun then, is at the same degree Leo.
Uranus, ruler of Aquarius, in Taurus is making a T- Square to the Sun and Moon. The empty leg of the T-Square is Scorpio. Scorpio as the empty leg of the T-Square calls us to engage with others – sharing resources and information in new ways.
Venus, ruler of Taurus, is conjunct the North Node at 26 degrees Gemini. We are asked to have a mature look at how we value ourselves and others through self talk and how we communicate with others.
With the Sun in Leo, the way we are able to creatively express as individuals with love for the collective is highlighted here. Keep an eye on what makes you feel radiant and open hearted. The Sun of Leo shines on all and can shine its rays with exuberance and generosity.
We may feel electrified. We may feel jangled. It can be fun to align with the electricity with a feeling of excitement, welcome and anticipation.
The Uranian energy of the full Moon reminds us to ground any excess energy so that the new information that is downloaded can link with associated subconscious memories.
Uranus rules the individuated unconscious. Uranus will begin retrograde motion on August 15th which will increase the ability to link with our own unconscious and work with what is revealed.
Uranus/Aquarius’ role is to speed up evolution and liberation from conditioning that has been ingrained over lifetimes. The upcoming Uranus retrograde cycle may pick up the thread dangled in the form of lightning at this full Moon. Keep an eye out for reactions/responses that may be conditioned habits rather than authentic interactions coming from one’s own being in the here and now.
The Aquarius full Moon can shake us awake, and the upcoming Uranus retrograde can reveal where liberation from conditioning – familial, genetic, nationalistic, cultural, religious is called for. The liberation is called for by the Soul that wants to evolve.
The union of Leo and Aquarius can make for some very creative solutions to questions we’ve been holding.
Uranus, ruler of Aquarius, in Taurus will ask us to walk the knife edge between security, routine, and the revolutionary.
Taurus can roll with change when it becomes accustomed to new routines and ways of doing things – especially if Taurus agrees that the changes are practical — especially if they enhance safety and security.
Mercury, the lower octave of Uranus, is in Cancer opposing Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn
At the full Moon. The ways we use our words of power and actions of authority is under reconstruction with Saturn and Pluto retrograde.
How can our thoughts and words help and heal and soothe this world as it is under massive renovation. Mars in Aries will square retrograde Jupiter in Capricorn on 4 August.
If we continue to ground during this time -- imagine roots coming from the feet being nourished by the Earth-- we can invite the intuitive, structured wisdom of Jupiter to inform the instinctual drive of Mars to make some exciting new pathways in our minds, in our hearts and in the physical body.
At this time, everyone on the planet has been learning new habits of communication, of personal hygiene, of daily routine. Mars loves to join the march, so be sure to engage the higher wisdom and the healthy instincts of the body when choosing where to enlist the energy of the day.
The Jupiter/Mars square can be used to make great new useful and healthy habits instinctual and kinesthetic.
Then we can move on to developing even bigger ideas, plans and projects.
