Gemini’s ruler, Mercury, is currently at 20 degrees Gemini exactly conjunct retrograde Venus at the time of the new Moon. Retrograde Venus not only reveals depths of relationship with others, it opens up the Union with the inner Self— the way to love, to value, to care for, to provide for the self— on all levels.
It’s Time to talk to the self about love. It’s Time to talk to the self with love. I found myself talking to myself using sweet words my mother called me, long ago and forgotten. They welled up in my mind as I started another quiet day.
Gemini is of the mind, as the first air sign. It has the ability to be gentle, as only mutable signs know how to be. It can help us to redirect the mind and the conversation to one that is increasingly caring, loving, encouraging, and useful.
With Gemini’s polarity to Sagittarius, we can join the mind and intuitive bodies together to shine a light that reveals more of the true Self.
Mercury and Venus are trine to Neptune in Pisces at the new Moon. Neptune is the higher mind of Venus. Mercury is thus thinking of love, care, relationship, nurturing, and connection to Spirit in a profound way at this new Moon.
Mercury likes to gather bits of information. Dots may be connected while we sleep, daydream or even stream more tv if we ask the higher Self, the inner Self to help.
Ask that all we see and hear and dream be a talisman, a shining light, a guide. Ask that the relevant pieces we have collected over days, months, years, lifetimes, be lit up brightly — to be understood, to be accepted, to be assimilated.
Neptune is timeless and retrograde Venus conjunct Mercury at the new Moon helps us to reach into the pool of all yearning, of all knowing, and retrieve that which we want to find and know.
If we stand in a pool, a tide, a bath, a puddle, and connect to the infinite wisdom that can focus on each one of us, answers can arise and fill us.
We can retrieve pieces that had been lying on the riverbed. We can begin to know.
As we stand in the water we can know that all elements connect to all others. Water is the biggest conductor of emotion. The Moon dictates the tidal movement and the emotional body.
All evolution stems from the Moon, the emotional body. This is what stirs us to seek, to ask, to meditate, to reach inward, to reach outward.
Stand quietly, in stillness in the pool of all that is, when the Moon is hidden from us and we are called within.
