PISCES FULL MOON 2019
The Pisces full Moon is at 21 degrees on Friday Sept 13th at 6:33 PM EST. It is the Harvest Moon in the Northern hemisphere. We are very close, now to the Equinox. We are feeling the Virgo/Pisces polarity. Virgo experiences the Spirit in all things through its mind and its physical senses. The Pisces full Moon experiences the Source if all things through its extrasensory perceptions the senses to which we attune when we rest, relax and turn inward. Polarities are necessary because they, for one, keep us safe. It’s best to attune to the physical environment before we turn inward to meditate. We make sure no bears are coming and that we haven’t left a pot going on the stove. We check the weather to see about possible lightning storms. It is easier to relax and be one with everything if we are not doing in a busy intersection. Anyway, you get the point: feet on the ground, head in the Pool of All That Is is a nice Pisces Virgo image. Virgo is a wonderful navigator of the Earth plane. Pisces is a wonderful explorer of the other realms. We can, and do, experience both to various degrees in life, especially now. At the full Moon Mars in Virgo is opposing Neptune (ruler of Pisces) in Pisces. We can turn our physical energy to our inner world. We can experience our spiritual selves while in the physical experience. We are drawn to do so at this time. Meditation can feel like a quest to meet our inner wise one for a receipt of calm, clearing and the answering of questions. While we are harvesting- this — or preparing to plant – we can tune in to our surroundings and hear what they have to say to us. The opportunity for listening to all the ways we can receive the message of our Greater Self are many. When I say our Greater Self I mean the part that sees beyond the four walls and can guide us in the day to day of our lives. Jupiter in Sagittarius is making a final square to Neptune (ruler of this full Moon) in Pisces. Mars, and more widely, Venus and Mercury, all in Virgo, are opposing Neptune and Squaring Jupiter. At this time, we are wanting to go big. We are wanting to go home and reflect on what going big felt like and means to us in the grand scheme. It is helpful to think about what going big means for us in relationship, in vocation, in fun and at home. Someone else’s really small might be very expansive, indeed, for me. Saturn goes direct in Capricorn in September 18th at nearly 14 degrees. Plans and ideas we’ve been refine will start to make their way into the light of day. Saturn tells us when it is time to implement and act. Saturn in Capricorn will make some steps forward and then stop to reflect, look at the structure thus far, pull a nail and move it over a few inches, ensuring the structure is sound. Life is never all systems go or stop. It is a dance in many directions and experiencing the feel of the entire field in which we can operate is a fulfilling and useful thing. We can get in touch with more of our heart, soul, energy and guidance. We can go bigger and see how that feels … for us, it’s all relative and it’s all part of our personal full Spectrum.
