Annular Eclipse of the Sun
Pisces is the 12th sign of the zodiac. It embodies all of the energies of all 12 signs. It has the deep understanding of one who has been around the block a few times. It's been around ALL of the blocks a few times. It assimilates and transmutes the energy of all that it has learned and gathered in its journeys around the wheel of the year, in the journeys on the wheel of Life. That doesn't mean that Pisces knows all and feels all. But it knows a lot and it feels a lot. The ruler of Pisces – Neptune – is the place where our dreams wishes hopes desires and delusions reside and grow. There are many paths and dreams and byways and illusions that come with this sign. There are two fish, attached to one another. One is jumping up into the light of the Sun, tugging the other toward the surface. The other is down in the depths, exploring what is transforming and turning in the depths. That one pulls the sunny one down below for a look. We need both. We operate in the day time, on the Earth plane, seeing what is there and operating within that construct. We also must see what lies beneath- both in our own ever changing consciousness and what is happening on a deeper level in the group consciousness. There can be sleight of hand here. We can turn our attention to obvious changes in mood and weather and not be prepared for the bigger storm over the next ridgeline. With the new Pisces Moon, we take the time to assimilate and become conscious of what we have learned and experienced and gathered in the past year(s). We come to our own center and see where our two fish lead us. We are aware of our blind spots. We are aware of our favorite delusions and know the path down which they like to lead us. Getting involved in daily routine can help with equilibrium. We know how to remember our patch of sunlight while we root around in the reeds for tasty morsels of Truth. We have ALL been around the block a few times and we have access to our own compass of truth and creativity. Getting lost in the reeds and weeds and staying there is one way to go, and the balance of all we’ve learned will lead us to our unique and useful and wise wave upon which to ride home.
