PISCES NEW MOON
THE New Moon occurs On March 2 at 12:34 PM EST AT 12 degrees Pisces.
This is the last new Moon of the astrological year, as Pisces is the 12th and final sign. In a few weeks, the annual cycle begins again with the Aries new Moon.
So we get to have a look at culminations, completions, and what we would like to attract next into our lives.
This is perfect timing, because Pisces, ruled by Neptune, dives into our dreams, wishes hopes and desires.
We can have a look at what has manifested for us already. We can feel into what we would still like to experience in our lives and where our focus may have shifted priorities.
The two fish, symbol of Pisces, are swimming away from each other but are side side – one not seeing the other.
What is just outside of our field of vision? What clues, ideas, suggestions and nudges are we needing to give more attention? Do we need the big splash of a fin to wake us up?
Neptune can get lost, or at least distracted by fantasy. It is lovely to swim around in the mist of the unmanifested potentialities of life.
Can we rise up the the surface where the Sun can shine on the ideas, dreams, and wisps of ideas that we would like to give our thoughts, visions and delight?
We don’t need to badger our dreams with to do lists and timelines. We can tease them into the ordinary life experience by imagining what having that thing or circumstance would feel like. We can help to realize ideas by giving the concept love and easy attention, understanding that things do unfold in perfect timing.
These dreams and ideas can be envisioned for us on a personal level AND on a community and more universal level. We can add our power to our vision.
As individuals and as a collective we are going through a massive growth spurt. There are accompanying growing pains with the expansion of consciousness. Taking loving care of our thoughts and energy is key to smoothing the way through these times.
At the new Moon, Venus and Mars are conjunct Pluto in Capricorn. Jupiter is nearly conjunct the Sun and New Moon which pulls Neptune in Pisces along for the ride.
What we love and desire – Venus - and how to go about attracting it – Mars — and the power/energy of bringing it into form- Capricorn — makes it a deep time to tune into those desires and to feel into what it would feel like to live them. We see the exertion of will and power going in in the world. This conjunction is trine the North Node in Taurus. We can emanate love for the earth and all that we value at this time… no matter what power struggles are being exhibited on the outer.
Venus and Mars are traveling side by side this week and on 7 March they enter Aquarius together reminding us we have creative expression that can soothe and inspire ourselves and our friends and neighbors all over.
Jupiter expands and adds an optimistic and an expansive vibration to those desires.
As we expand, we can how our energy reaches out. We may see there are friends with whom we can join forces to bring ideas to fruition.
So we carry on. Pisces is a culmination of all experiences so we can reach into the mist and pull out what feels good. We can remember and invite what feels helpful, what progresses our day in a way that nurtures us. We can imagine our way into a compassionate place. These ideas and feelings do, indeed radiate from us for the good of all.
