The New Moon takes place at 12:07 AM EST on 15 November 2020 at 23 degrees Scorpio.
The new Moon makes a pleasant sextile to Saturn, Jupiter and Pluto in Capricorn.
We have the third of three Jupiter/Pluto conjunctions in Capricorn.
At this new moon there is an embodiment of optimism and self-empowerment. Jupiter says I can do it and my intuition is telling me how to do it!
Pluto says I am going to do what is in my personal power to get started with – or to continue on with.
Mars is finally direct at 15 degrees Aries. Mars is the lower octave of Pluto, Scorpio’s ruler. Both Capricorn and Aries are Cardinal signs. They like to begin things.
We can trust the internal power source to move on ideas, visions and plans that have been gestating during Mars retrograde.
Scorpio is a fixed sign. It will stick with it once a decision has been made to move ahead.
Scorpio, a water sign, will know when it FEELS right to act. Jupiter in its rulership of Sagittarius, gives an intuitive boost.
When wanting to feel courage and empowerment, I like to run a list of actions and ways of beings I already know how to do and or have accomplished to remind me that I am capable of action and capable of manifesting my vision.
I start with the fact that I got up that morning. I made the bed, I showered, I ate a meal, I wrote in my journal.
Then I can say, wow! I’ve been up for an hour and look at all I have done for myself already!
There are many things that are going on in the outside world that am seem beyond our control.
It is highlighted at the moment, but this is always the case.
There is something that we can work on though. The time of the Scorpio new Moon is a great time to focus on what is within our power to envision, to change, to manifest. We do have the power, if we are willing turn our attention to it, to find our own best and most comfortable responses to circumstances. Responsibility – the ability to respond – is a good one quality to keep in mind.
We do have choices. We may not always like the choices, but we do have them. When I remember I have choices about how I act, speak and respond, that no one is making me… I regain/retain my personal power, agency and authority.
There are constraints across the globe at the moment. There are constraints in my town. I can embrace them and find ways to flourish within them.
At this time we have access to the why – why we have been thinking and acting in certain ways.
We will be able to go toward empowering behaviors, habits and relationships. We can move into thoughts, behaviors, habits and relationships that are most true for us. When we embody what is true for us – what feels right in our instinct and intuition, we are empowered.
Keep in mind the threefold symbol of Scorpio: the Scorpion who is nimble and deadly close up and in the ground, the eagle, who has a wide view of the lay of the land. It is strong, powerful, and sees the big picture. Finally we have the Phoenix who is magical and is willing to dive into the depths, risking its very life, to experience the transformation and subsequent rebirth.
All power to each soul on the path, embodying the human experience in all of its multilayered richness.
If we can’t go out, we can go within!
Lots of love, Lydia
